Artist have to do more to promote themselves and not leave it solely to the machine. This song is different and refreshing and I've only heard it just now...wow! Radio is so formula based & regurgitates the same old stew that something truly new doesn't make rotation. Of course it's other politics that goes on as well.

Instant classic! I like how that Fela "sample sound" takes us all the way back to afrobeat's origins. This is one of the most unique tracks (production wise) that I've heard (of its kind) in a while. This type of beat could inspire a whole new sub genre 🤞! I hope it introduces a new generation to Fela, as well as other original creators who pioneered afrobeat from its roots to it's current manifestations. Hopefully, international collabs & cross cultural "pollination" like this will become the new normal.
