This is a review and detailed close up of the Kel-Tec PMR 30 22 Magunm (WMR) pistol. Very simple and easy to disassemble and reassemble. Not too many parts in this pistol and of course you can see the metal parts vs. the polymer parts of the pistol.
The only thing I have a problem with personally is the buffer, it feels somewhat flimsy and breakable. I would definitely order spares to have around just in case. On the Kel-tec website (www.keltecweapons.com) the buffer is priced at $2.05
This PMR 30 is just amazing, it's lightweight and power of a 22 magnum and of course 30 round magazines.

This gun is a winner for me. I only shoot .22LR and .22WMR, that's it. 2 rifles and 2 SA revolvers with cylinders for LR and WMR. Nice and simple and I only need to hold ammo for each. The PMR 30 now adds a semi-auto. So far, a few thousand rounds and not a single hitch. If only it wasn't so ugly.

Took mine to the range last week and was disappointed with it's performance. Jamming all the time. Nice shot groups when I could get it to work properly.

Fire about 300 plus rounds maybe even less to break it in, yes I know sucks to hear that. Mine has 200 rounds and never fails and fires brands Kel-tec says do not use flawlessly. I also polished the feed ramp and used frog lube on all the metal parts like the barrel which I do for all my guns and I really believe that helps. Just really smother now.

Good video. I haven't shot mine yet. I just got the navy blue one. I had all the colors on my wish list at buds gunshop for almost 4 years.

Love that gun, but In my State they won't let us have more than 10 rounds.

+Gun Collector007 Yeah stupid worthless anti gun laws that do nothing good, they only benefit criminals. I also did a video with a 10 round limiter for this PMR30 for those kind of states I have friend in.

thanks for the great vid. ! did you ever find a holster ? i haven't been able to find any for the pmr 30 .

I appreciate the compliment. I found a basic $20.00 generic nylon holster that will fit it made by UTG and can be worn on the hip and as a tactical thigh holster. You can fit many other handguns in it, so for now that will work. Will have to make a video on those holsters as I keep getting asked about a holster for it. They need to make it in 17-HMR. For god's sake! They have such a fantastic gun. 30 round ammo capacity...the 17-HMR is would make this an even more unique pistol, with even less recoil and better ballistics...Don't get me wrong. The 22 mag is good...but the 17-HMR is special. It is almost the perfect rimfire cartridge.

I agree, that would be a damn cool handgun in that caliber. I called Kel-tec a few years ago and asked them if they were going to make a handgun like this but in 22 caliber or .17 HMR and the woman I spoke with laughed and said, "you never know but I am not allowed to say for now." We can take that anyway but lets hope. Thanks for watching and your question.
