His daughter, Loren, is one of the sweetest, most caring and down to earth people I know. She is several years younger than me and taught me a valuable lesson when we worked together. ❤️

The fact that the dispatcher just let a 911 call that consisted of multiple gunshots go infuriates me. The call not being in their jurisdiction is a poor excuse because the dispatcher could’ve just called the jurisdiction that the call did come from and let them know the location and phone number and what they heard.

I just posted from my 16 yr experience of dispatching...tldr Location software only became reliable in late 2020. Before then we could only tell that something happened near a tower. The tower can be 25 to 50 miles away. There no way of knowing. And a map would only show woods. If you called another agency saying we got a call tracking somewhere in your jurisdiction but we don't know where; they'd ask "what do you want me to do "? Also gunshot heard in calls were something I would answer literally 5 to 10 times DAILY. Back then you could only call back. If you go no answer you had to move on because there were plenty of emergencies happening with actual locations.

I always reference Lorenzen’s story whenever I am expressing to people the importance of being mindful of who you allow into your life. Sherra was the daughter of Lorenzen’s coach so she knew the potential he had and made sure to get her hooks into him. Had it not been for her, he would still be here. Please be aware of the types of people you allow into your life. She saw him as a come up, she didn’t care about him. She used so many people along the way, even her own kids. She even made sure she built a rift between the kids and their grandmother. She wasn’t regretful or remorseful at her trial, either. Sherra is the definition of SHE DEVIL. RIP Lorenzen.

As a mom that’s lost a 13 month old son, I’m not surprised he took the loss so hard. I’ve lost almost 80 pounds since he passed from severe anxiety and depression. This is such a sad case and my heart goes out to his kids and family.💛

I remember meeting Lorenzen years ago at Best Buy when he played for the Memphis Grizzlies. He took the time to shake my cousin and I hands. He was so nice. When news hit that he died I was extremely sad! Thanks for covering this.

The fact that she took a plea deal is beyond aggravating. She knows what she did, and Lorenzen's poor family has to deal with the consequences of losing their son. The people that surrounded Lorenzen envied him and wanted the money he had. What's really sad is the fact that he realized what was happening when he got to the scene, and he probably knew it was for that reason. Great video, Kendall!! I’m SO angry that the 911 dispatcher did nothing but sound annoyed on the call. I can’t believe she wasn’t fired! Also, in that 911 call you can hear him say his wife’s name before he says “goddamn!”. It sounds like he was totally taken by surprise.

Everytime I hear this story it breaks my heart because I met his oldest daughter Loren a few years back when she lived in Charlotte. And she is such a good spirit and fun to go out with you would never think her family went through so much tragedy. I still follow her and his oldest son on social media to see how their doing from time to time. I pray for them and they’re family 🙏

Being from the Mid-South , this case has been very overwhelming. People never gave up hope and everyone always suspected her. She was very vain and selfish. This took a toll on everyone in the area , Lorenzen was so selfless

in the nba, there’s surprisingly a lot of unsolved mysteries. most notably, the murder of Bison Dele. really interesting case that is technically still unsolved, however police have a general idea of what may have happened. i recommend researching if interested.

Its amazing how much Sherra's looks changed, it actually looks she lost her soul when she killed the father of her children. IMO 30 yrs is one thing, it's the fact that she could only do 8 yrs an if denied she will still have opportunities after that to get out early. 🤦

This is heartbreaking! Seeing his mother’s hand shaking @40:55, while the verdict was being read, made my heart ache! They took her son away, took him away from his children, ended his life…senselessly. This is a shame! She definitely deserved more time, 😤 but her soul will have to answer for this. The saddest killed for money story was that guy from FL, I believe his name was Abraham Shakespeare? He had struggled through life and was like a grade school drop out (because he started working to help support his family). Then some random woman took advantage of him and lived off his money after killing and burying him in his new house. She kept telling his family members vicious things saying it came from him. Then she played the victim and tried selling “her side of the story “ for $200,000, saying she would get out for that amount. When it comes to money, it seems it brings out the worst in others.

@@garymathewoo973 yeah, like $30 million. From his wiki page aside from the $1 million dollar home he purchased, his only other purchases were a Nissan Altima and a secondhand rolex from a pawnshop. I remember watching one of those shows and he had spent money on “family “ and “friends” who popped up out of the woodwork as you can imagine. Even his friend/co worker sued him right after he found out he won saying he “stole” the tickets from him. The poor man couldn’t catch a break. I do remember also they mentioned how he thought money would make things better but felt it made his life worse because of how people were behaving and treating him, and he didn’t think he would have missed the simplicity.

Living in the Memphis area, I am well aware of this tragic story. Watching it unfold throughout the years was heartbreaking and frustrating. Such a loss to so many and for such horrible reasons. i was so young when this case first broke the local news.... as a memphian this case hit extremely close for me... it was so so confusing for a 10-12 year old. there were so manny unanswered questions for years. peace to the wright family ❤️

I, too, was born and raised in Oxford, MS. My children also attend Lafayette County Schools. Such a sad, senseless case. I pray he is resting in Peace. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I’ve watched all of your videos, related to true crime. 🤦🏽♀️ I think what you’re doing is amazing!
