@@eddysgaming9868 take a slice of bread. Squeeze it repeatedly in your hand, for about 5 minutes. What happens? Now imagine that in your colon? Constipation is caused by carbs gumming up the works so to speak. Meat is so thoroughly digested it doesn't even make it that far. There is no essential carb. You don't need a shred of fiber. Everything you need can be obtained easily from decent quality ruminant meat.

KenDBerryMD, thanks for the video & the keto drops info, had a question regarding minerals, I make my own magnesium oil, wondered since its Magnesium Chloride I use to make it, can I also add salt(ie Sodium Chloride) and my supplemental potassium( potassium chloride) to the oil recipe? I figure it's an easy way to get them all through the day and avoid the issues with eating too much magnesium at once and having to run through the bathroom, would appreciate your take on it, thanks.

Foods you can eat: Beef, eggs, butter, liver, bacon. Use salt to taste, drink water, still or sparkling, coffee and tea. No other foods for at least a month. One or two very large meals a day within a 6-hour window. Fast 18hrs. No sweeteners, no breaded meats. Avoid all carbs. Got it! thank you!!

@@ArtLoverScotland Ha, good question. I fell off the wagon and had to do it again. Went up to over 18 stone but I'm down to 17 now. It works well BUT discipline is an issue too. Good to see your an art lover. I just picked up a brush for the first time this year. Small acorns etc etc. Best wishes from Darkest South Glasgow

@@GenRN I understand completely. It is somewhat jarring at first but you adapt quicker than you think. 14 days goes by very quickly. It's a benefit that is proportionate to the sacrifice in the end I would suggest. Dabble with Atkins or Carnivore and go from there. Your not under an obligation to keep going if it doesn't suit. I'd try it.

I'm definitely a sugar junkie. I've quit sodas so many times I've lost count, and all it takes is one soda to get me started again. I've come to understand why alcoholics have such problems.

Oh it’s true. I’m a sugar addict as well. People who are not don’t even understand the struggle. Like not buying any candy on purpose so I won’t get tempted, but then at 2 am (after struggling the whole day) just getting in my car and driving to a gas station to buy every candy imaginable and stuffing my face in it like it’s crack!!!! And literally getting that drug high. The struggle is real. It’s a proper addiction. Fasting helped. Going carnivore even more. But once pms hits for a few days I just can’t resist and I have some candy. But like 1/4 oft what I’d eat before. Baby steps haha

Raymond, you've done Carnivore for this improvement? Or did you do some Keto veggies? Struggling to get hubby's sugar down. I think he has to go carnivore.

@@tarathompson8192 I am a T1 diabetic. Since starting a low carb/ketogenic diet, my blood sugars have dramatically improved. Every 3 months or so, I go in for my A1C. Every time, they have dropped on average 1 full point. Before keto I was routinely in the 9s. I then went to 8.7, 8.0, and my most recent 6.8. I still have work to do, but I am trending in the right direction. IMHO, if you can get your husband to start cutting carbs, he should see great improvements.

I can testify that this does work. My doctor had diagnosed me with diabetes and put me on medication that was making me feel like a zombie, and I still had high sugar levels. Well, I remembered that back in my younger days when I used to do powerlifting, I used to only eat animal products and never had any of these illnesses. So, I decided to reverse my diabetes and told my doctor I would not take any more medication. I then started watching videos by Ken Berry that showed me I was doing the right thing. Of course, I experienced sugar withdrawal symptoms, but I stuck with it. In one month, my diabetes was gone, I lost 25 lbs of fat, and I have felt healthier than I have in years. Next month, I will be 64, and I have the energy of a 19-year-old athletic man. Try it, and you won't regret it.

Husband started this diet hack with the plan to do just the 30 days. It started 1/1/2022. Today is 8/13/2022 and he's lost over 120 pounds without ANY cheating! He has no urge to cheat. Started in the high 300s. He is happy, fully of energy, off a ton of medications. His shirts were 4X and now the 2X are LOOSE. His waist was in the high 40s and now is at 38. He looks so good! (I should say that after month one he did add a larger range of Carnivore meats and added lots of Salmon, chicken and any other meat you can think of. His favourites are Pork Belly and LIVER. Yum

​@TRUST I melt some butter in a skillet and brown sliced beef liver for just a couple of minutes...it cooks fast and you don't want it overdone. Chicken livers can cook a bit longer.

@TRUST I do it on the skillet; if I don't eat it like that, I place it in the food processor with melted salted butter and a bit of salt... it's delicious in my opinion. I do it so it lasts 2 or 3 days, not more. Y eat a spoonful with any other meat or boiled eggs, for example.

I have been on this EXACT diet for 7 days....I have lost ONE pound a day. I am NOT exercising just doing my regular routine.17/7 fast or 18/6 most days. I eat 2 meals until I am FULL....FULL...meat, sausage and eggs and a little hard cheese...water, tea coffee. I am RARELY hungry. Just stunning to me.

10th day on carnivore diet. Went from completely regular food, to eggs, chop meat, bacon, steak, chicken and a little cheese OVER NIGHT. Trying to stay hydrated with water, electrolytes, magnesium, and one tbs apple sider vinegar a day. THATS IT. Probably Zero CARBS, Zero SUGAR. Lost 11 lbs since start. Nothing in inches.. Keto flu started about the 3rd or 4th day. Still feel pretty crummy, but trying to power through. Don't know how much longer I can deal with this Keto flu. I've been testing for Ketosis with the strips and only still registering small amount. I thought I would have been full-blown ketosis by now. I had cancer back in 2014. went thru chemo, radiation, and pumping bottles of Ensure through a tube into my stomach, for three months. If I did that, I have to be able to do this. Going to keep powering thru this. Let's see what happens. They're either going to find me dead on the floor or making a success of this.

Hi Mike. Just checking in on you. Similar start off for me on May 6, so I am two weeks in. I hope you are sticking with it, but if not and you want to try again, may I offer something to consider that just boosted me right into ketosis. I saw some videos on 3 day Sardine Fast. Now, this was not an easy consideration as no one in my entire network has ever eaten a sardine to my knowledge. They were repulsive to me. My I thought...it is 3 days and the benefits looked fantastic. So I did it and I am ecstatic at my progress. I even went back and bought more just to keep on hand, in my car, in a drawer at work. So handy and non-perishable. They were very filling and killed the snarling lion that used to live in my stomach. Sure made IF and ketovore so much easier. I am doing ACV and lemon water with electrolytes since I lean carnivore right now. My Dr Boz ratio has been in the 20's for over 10 days straight. That is unbelievable. Many blessings to you. Checking back in, we're doing great. Still eating keto. We did splurge a bit around the holidays, which I learned was really not worth it but back on track now. The only hard part about keto is the week or so it takes for your body to get into ketosis. I love keto!

I was never fat or overweight, I’m only 29, but my parents got on this diet from Dr. Berry and haven’t shut up about it. So I tried it, I always work out 4-5 times a week lifting weights, some cardio, some Olympic lifts etc. I’m about 5 weeks into it , and I gotta say I’ve realized things about my body that were so obvious but I didn’t know until now. I was absolutely more insulin resistant than most people. I feel so much better as far as mood, I have more energy from the time I get up to the time I go to bed. I’m losing the fat in places that I haven’t ever been able to shred it off of. I literally have never had visible abdominal muscles until this point in my life and I freaking did it eating bacon? It makes me mad that this diet is being suppressed in basic weight loss media, it’s so simple, and truly effective within a week it seemed like.

Similar story for me, im a skinny body type but I am now almost on week two and my abs are showing for the first time in my life. Even the veins on my forehaed are coming through, and my mental clarity is way up. My breath hardly smells at all in the mornings. Im in tune with what my body needs

Day 6 of this weight loss hack - I've lost 10.5 lb. I'm in full ketosis and burning pure fat. I'm a Type II diabetic, and my morning blood glucose usually runs anywhere between 140 and 180. This morning it was 96! I actually had to skip my diabetes meds because they would have sent me into a hypo. I'm actually starting to reverse my insulin resistance! I haven't felt this good in over a year. If you're looking for these kinds of results, give this a try. It's hard, but not as hard as being fat!

16 days in and I’m down 16.5 lb. I’m laser focused on this. Right now I’m just following the plan, but I think I’m ready to kick it up a notch with some exercise. I have never lost this amount of weight this quickly. Starting to see and feel the changes in my body, both inside and out.

Quit smoking and drinking 3months ago, started apple cider vinegar and am now fasting 3 days and then will do this diet! I need to lose 25 lbs too! Thank you Daniel for the info!

I joined your BBBE weight loss "Hack" 13 days ago today. IVE BEEN KETO for 3 1/2 years, but with all the keto junk food and breads, out of my 120 lb weight loss, 20lbs krept back on. Ive lost 10 pound in 13 days. Have 10 more to go. (My photo is recent).My blood pressure is down to 110/62. My A1C is now 5.5, throid levels from Hypothyroidism to normal. IM Doing OMAD, With just coffee in the morning and iced tea and Electrolytes all day.

Way to go! I started at 266 May 4, 2023 and down 11 pounds in 25 days. I'm 65 and have slow metabolism but already have much more energy. Soon I will be able to exercise more. This lifestyle change has been so easy for me. Even my wife said that I look thinner. 😎👍🏻

This is my exact story. For me this carnivore eating plan fixed my A1C, my cholesterol and triglycerides: 4 eggs in 1/4 cup butter with 1/2 pkg of sugar free bacon EVERY DAY for Bfast, steak/meat in bacon grease/butter everyday at 1-2pm. Done!

I completed the 30-Day Carnivore Challenge with great success and I'm not stopping. I feel so incredibly amazing all the time now. I lost 20 lbs, my waist went down 2 inches, I sleep so much better and my stress level has declined tremendously. My blood pressure is a non issue and my resting heart rate has finally dropped down to an excellent level, for a 59 year old man. I was just starting to wear XL again, now I can fit into Medium shirts, little tight but loosing up more and more. I'm not stopping. @@melissaholcomb48 yes I was and I still am my doctor is in the background aware of what I'm doing. I'm blessed with that. Honestly my body felt calmer and my over anxiety and stress decreased tremendously once I was fully fat adapted. For the past 36 days I haven't had any sugar or any processed foods whatsoever. DR. BERRY'S TIPS FOR THE BEST WEIGHT LOSS (very low carb/zero carb) EAT ONLY: 1. Meat from Ruminent Animals (beef, lamb, goat, venison, etc) 2. Eggs 3. Butter 4. Organ meats (liver etc) 5. Bacon 6. Drink water (sparkling or still) 7. Use Salt as much as you like 8. Can drink coffee or tea without any sweeteners * Do for 1-3 months at least. * Do intermittent fasting (one meal or 2 meals a day within less than a 6 hour window). * Eat until comfortably full. * Ensure you get enough electrolytes (potassium, magnesium, sodium).

Zero carb (carnivore) broke my plateau from keto. I only stick with carnivore and fasting. Fasting got me weaned off caffeine and reset my taste buds to enjoy different foods like sardines, herring, pork (Foods I hated before) 200lbs down since feb 2017

The taste-buds thing is an important point. I broke my carnivore diet as an experiment and went back to the Sad American Diet for a few days. In less than a week all of the liver and heart I used to find appetizing is now hard to swallow again. Bottom line: what/how you eat radically modifies taste and satiety!

Started keto July 19th, 2022. Lost 102 lbs. Converted to carnivore August 2nd, 2023. 2 weeks yesterday and scale stopped moving up and down. Now it's definitely moving down. -3 lbs overnight. Lol, doing 23/1 for last couple of days. Pretty much by accident. Thanks Dr Berry for putting your knowledge out for us.

@@tiam3663 cheese is ok in moderation. Mainly because it can be an unknown allergen. Try to stick with the harder cheeses instead of the soft cheeses.

I feel that at 58 years old I have been lied to. I started off on my weight loss journey and fitness kick by saying to myself I am going to be fitter and thinner than I have ever been. I have gone full carnivore and very quickly I lost weigh. I swim every day even when I don't feel like it and I can't begin to tell you how well I feel. Once you understand that fats and meat are extremely good for you the weight just melts away and not only that , but it melts away quickly.

I am a stress eater to. I followed this and was doing great and didn't crave anything sweet. I felt really good. I started to stress about personal things and noticed me slowly eating things I had avoided. Now having to start all over again. It's so hard.

@@angeldahnke3496 dairy can still have some tolerance and/or inflammation issues with people. Not just lactose intolerance either. So this eliminates all that from the equation. After the 30 days, you can try and add the heavy cream back in to see if you notice any changes, good or bad...

i am having issues with my knee as well. I had imaging done, and there was no bone on bone or arthritis issues. the inside ligament is causing the pain i suspect it is inflammation, that can be helped by a meat diet. I am unsure if there is any thing else to do about it?

@@patriciapeters2152 It can’t hurt to try an all meat diet. After about 3 months you should be able to feel if it does reduce the inflammation to your knees.

@patriciapeters I have inflammatory response to many things and found an all meat diet assisted with the treatment of neuropathy after major back surgery. I am using this approach in hopes of discontinuing medications I have been using for years. I hope you have some relief.

A R I started eating protein and low carb veggies. I eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. I was afraid I would get hungry. I stated intermittent fasting by not eating after 7 pm till breakfast. Gradually my fast went longer. My need for food decreased so I found myself overtime naturally fasting an average of 22 hours a day and eating one big protein meal and one snack in a 6 hour window. Limited carbs under 20 grams a day. Lost 40 lbs rather fast. Now 6.0 A1C

@@meilysumantri9819 I usually have 2 eggs for breakfast with 7 or 8 slices of bacon ...hamburger patties for lunch...I don't eat after 4:00 , no SUGAR, BREAD, OR POTATOES...very low carbs, no more than 10 to 15 grams a day.... Saturdays I'll have a 12 to 16 oz ribeye and salad...this is pretty much my routine every day...I do change up my meats tuna one day, chicken another...what I do might not work for you but it did for me good luck...and I'm not hungry during the day...I also fast one day a week for 16 to 24 hrs...I hope this helps...also I do brown butter if I get really hungry ( just a few 2 or 3 pieces) I also drink water or unsweetened tea

@@skyblueeyes9968 I do pretty much a 16/8 fast everyday. I eat homemade beef jerky and deviled eggs about 11 am. Enough to be satisfied. At 6 or 7 pm I'll eat a large meal consisting of a variety of things all week. Steak, ground beef, lamb, pork, chicken wings, shrimp, fish, bacon and eggs, etc. I no longer eat plants or carbs. Although I will eat a few strawberries for dessert occasionally. No recipes really. Extremely simple preparations.

I’m 59, I started following Dr Berry and his guest speakers for a little over a year now. I was 290-298 and this morning I weighed in at 240. In just I had a Life Scan Physical and blood work done. All levels are in normal range -Finally!! My Chronic Fatty Lover is now borderline sever, and looking much better according to the scan. Testosterone is over 500 and I feel energetic and the clothes in my closet fit for the first time in many years! Some I had to replace as they were no longer in style- To YOU- Do It, Do It NOW!

I am a serious follower and "on line student" of Dr. Berry. I'm from Colombia living in USA. This is my 2nd. week on carnivore diet. I'm taking all steps gradually; still feel so weak and nauseated just with the smell of meat & fat. Small portion once a day. From 3/20/22 to 7/2/22 I have lost 50lbs on keto and I.F. I have tried every diet on the planet and was never able to loose weight so fast and feel so good. I’am down 32lbs since February and it’s the beginning of May now. Hope to loose and 50 by the end of the year. I have never felt better so full of energy. No diet has ever done this for me. I'm pretty much following this diet as I don't really like vegetables, I'm also considerably overweight, was in the 300 club. I started this and cut almost all carbs, light vegetables and a \ lot of meat, down 28lbs in 21 days so far. May take it to the next step and go strictly carnivore and see how that goes now that I'm past the sugar and carb detox.

@@jasonlangworth2542 I eat a lot of eggs and hamburgers with no bun. I make my own sauces, Olive oil Mayo and Frank's hot sauce mixed 5:1 is awesome. I also live in Oklahoma so most of my meat I buy as half a cow/pig, steaks and everything works out to under $4/lb. Several families around me sell fresh eggs.

Im 59, been doing ketovore on and off for 2 yrs. Lost couple stone first time but stressful life changes and almost all back on. I do IF 16 18 20 24 regularly but, no weight loss. Getting very demotivated. Thought id have it all off by now. Got my health, joints and pain, brain fog, etc better. Ive got 4 or 5 stone to lose and losing energy and not participating in life like i would. Im on hrt, certainly insulin resistant and the weight is just not budging despite practically living on air. So, im going to stick to this faithfully, one month at a time and pray that by the time im 60 next march that im a different woman xx.

Just checking how you are doing. I did keto for years until I had a hysterectomy then went off for a bit. Every timeI would get back in ketosis I wouldn't lose weight... even months into it. Started carnivore the day after Memorial Day. I lost 17 in the first 3 weeks and then got a plateau. Not dropping any weight. Pain in legs and joints. Never had that before. I also drink electrolytes to try to combat the pain. Trying not to get discouraged. I'd ike to try BBBE.... so I'm curious how you are doing. Thanks

Make sure to eat plenty of animal fats. Hard to believe eating fat causes you to lose fat! Eliminate all sweeteners and use a good amount of salt. It will work. Every body is different on this journey. Check out Kelly Hogan on my no carb life. She had amazing weight loss, however, it took awhile longer than other "losers". We are all unique, so don't give up

I'm one month into my 3 month experiment. So far I've healed my Baker's cyst, chronic bone and muscle pain, lost 2+ inches off my waist, have crazy energy and mental clarity and even a better attitude about life! I prayed and prayed for almost 2 years to be healed. Finally I prayed to be shown how to heal myself and BOOM!! Carnivore OMAD ftw!! I've tried literally everything else.

@@angelagrant2943 Stick to it, friend! I'm almost through the 90 days now and I've lost many inches, I'm stronger, and I feel so much better. Pretty sure I'm going to stick with it. I ate 5 tortilla chips and got the worst earache of my life for 2 hours! It's crazy, but now I can experiment and find out what hurts me. It's such a blessing!

Been carnivore for 6 months it took 6 months to lose 10 lbs. I have 13 lbs to go and I’ve been strictly, not one cheat, on the bbbe for 14 days not 1 oz lost. I’m so envious of people who lose weight easily. I gain weight just looking at carbs.

It’s nice to see your comment. I’ve been carnivore for almost 10 months and very discouraged about not losing any weight-gaining it instead 😫. This morning I thought I would try something different and cut back on fats and dairy, going with less fatty meat, but this video has changed my mind. Tomorrow I’m going to do this BBB&E challenge and also finally commit to quitting Stevia in coffee. I wish you luck!

@@marcysmith2851 Did you break thru it and finally lose a little weight? I have heard some carnivore ladies that used to calorie restrict all the time (lowkey starve themselves and binge) they gain weight at first because your body is so happy to finally get nutrition, it stores and fixes stuff on the inside before letting go of the fat. Highly recommend walking and if you don't want eggs or beef, you are not hungry. You can still over eat if you are eating things like cheese and heavy cream instead of legit just Meat, eggs, and bacon.

For those who haven’t lost weight on this diet, have you noticed your clothes fit better or are getting bigger? Have your measurements gotten smaller and how do you look in the mirror? Often in low or no carb diets, you’ll see your efforts pay off in these ways but modest losses on the scale.

@Wendy-xe2xw Yes, and my family keeps saying my face has gotten much smaller. My glasses are always falling off my face now. My period pain is almost non-existent, and my rings fall off my fingers now. Working out is much easier. My legs are the same size but look better, like the cellulite is less visible and the lines from my muscles look so pretty to me. I lost 10 lbs initially, and now I gain and lose the same 4 lbs, even so my stomach lays flatter. I may just need to fast, but ever since I started carnivore, I just really want to eat, like my body craves the nutrients. If I try to under-eat or portion control, I'm hungry as heck lol

I started keto May 2018. After a few months I could go upstairs easily and even run them. I could lift stuff better and do other physical activities easier. This was during doing NO time at the gym but some walking and had little weight to lose. I’m 70 yo woman and this state of improved physicality was noticeable and now I realize it was the muscle sparing effects of keto. Wow. It works. I’m never really tired except for the workout tired feeling I love. Try it, people. I feel fabulous inside and out. 😀😀. Well fed too. Not hungry. NO energy crashes

I've been playing with primal, keto, carnivore for years now and I'm still learning how my body works/responds...my biggest problem is sugar addiction, just the tiniest amount puts me into a (sickening) tailspin!.... then I start over...Again!

Congratulations - that's awesome! I've lost over 60 pounds and now run up and down our stairs as opposed to the very slow pain filled way I used to go up and down them. I am no longer in pain and my knee arthritis is completely gone. I used to need cortisone shots in my knees every 6 months to prevent them from getting fluid filled (had to get them drained back then as well.) I have been on Keto for over 1 1/2 years now and my arthritis has never returned! :)

@@themandigirl Pork chops do not have quite as much nutrition as beef, but is not bad. The major downside is they are probably too lean. If you cook them in a quality oil like lard, tallow, ghee, etc. and smother the chop in real butter, you should be good. I would mix some beef in here and there though.

Thanks! I tried the BBBE Challenge for 1 month and lost 10 lbs.!!! Now, I'm primarily carnivore but chose to do ketovore when variety is needed. Still moving the scale with minimal exercise!!! I'm watching this and saying to myself wow your step dad used to beat you for eating bone marrow and grizzle. When my body was just trying to tell me what to eat to stay alive. I was basically born with insulin resistance but grew up eating a typical 80's arcade diet. Red meat is the only thing that makes me feel good since weightloss surgery. Yup used to be 600 pounds but lost 400 pounds. I have to stay away from carbs no matter what I do. I'm a zero carb girl for life. Even a lil bit and I gain. Now I know why veggies go right through me. Not to be gross but my body really protects me.

All the meat! Any organ meats! Bacon bacon butter! Salt water.. coffee tea. Do not eat any other foods. Eat as much as you want. No sweeteners or breads. Withdrawal from carb/sugar addiction will be over in about a week. Use keto chow electrolyte drops to help decrease the cravings. Here I go again yall! I’m fat, sick full of congestion from GERD and bout to get back on track.

I have been on a Vegan (mainly organic) diet (no soya. No artificial anything. No lab meat etc) for almost 20 years. I was diagnosed being pre-diabetic. Told I have gall polyps. My body (all of it) aches, hurts, feels broken. I have so much pain all over. Spasmodic. I never know where i hurt next. I changed my diet to the ketogenic over night. Kept carbs below 25g a day. No change in pain. I lost 14 kg in weight though. After 10 months on keto I have changed to carnivore 4 days ago. I feel real crap. Pain is awful. No energy. I had to cut my walk with my dog and was glad to be back in my car. I sleep 2 hours than im right awake. No appetite until I eat. Fed up with it all right now. I'm trying to help my body and don't seem to do a good job. I'm 64 and weigh 77kg. I like to be pain free so much. And have a good sleep. I can easily fast. I will do the above as I like to loose a bit more weight. But I mainly do the carnivore to stop my pains. I'm a happy, positive person regardless 😊 I do OMAD but think I will do 2 meals. I must also say that I craved meat during veganism. Is there a ratio for protein and fat intake? Thank you 😊

I’m so excited to share my numbers with someone who can relate! My blood sugar was always around 287, my A 1C was in Diabetic range, after 2 weeks it’s at 151! My blood pressure ON meds was around 140/92 now with no meds…134/80! I’m consistently losing a pound and a half per day and in 2 weeks have lost 11pounds! I’m not hungry! I’m almost to OMAD also. My skin tags are shrinking and I FEEL better and better and I’m starting to look younger! 🙌🙌 Thanks so much for putting your work out there! Many blessings to you and yours!

JimL…thanks for asking. I struggled at first and would occasionally have a cookie or banana but I finally decided that I was only hurting myself by doing that and in my mind now I say “that’s poison ☠️ don’t take it” and I have not had a speck of sugar unless it’s hidden in things like my vitamins. Yes, vitamins have some version of sugar 🙄 I am having a keto fat bomb daily to fill a sugar craving and that works. I am fasting and mostly doing OMAD. I have gotten used to it. I need to measure my body to keep track as I am not losing tons of pounds but I am losing inches. Got new clothes that I couldn’t wear before! I was so heavy that you have to lose a ton before anyone else can see it, but people are finally starting to comment and that feels so good 😊

I started a low carb diet on September 1 and by Christmas my weight had dropped from 240 to 175 lbs. I went down from a 36” waist to a 30. Felt great and have lots of energy. Only thing I would caution is you need to be aware of your cholesterol levels.

When you start consuming higher quantities of fat, it is true, your cholesterol levels will be higher. Inasmuch as the body has two fuel sources, carbs and fats, if you reduce carbs, your fat consumption has to increase. In the absence of carbs, your body will adapt to using fat for fuel. Over time, your body will require less food, the cholesterol level will go back down, as your body works more efficiently, burning stored fat, which will preserve muscle while burning stored fat.

Don’t be too concerned about cholesterol levels. Check Dr Berrys other videos on this topic to ease your mind. We demonise cholesterol so much when sugar is the real killer. Many more people die from lifestyles diseases created by sugar than they do from fat. I don’t hear anyone stating I’ve got to be careful of my sugar intake because of my insulin levels.

Congrats on the weight loss! That is amazing! Your diet has very little impact on cholesterol levels. Your body produces a certain amount of cholesterol and nothing you eat will change that. My mother has high cholesterol, so do her sisters. She ate a low cholesterol diet prescribed by her doctor for 6 months, her numbers lowered by 3. Same with one of my aunties. She knew the diet her doctor prescribed wouldn't make a difference but she followed it religiously. He was stunned there was so little difference in her numbers. My father has perfect cholesterol numbers, and eats bacon, eggs, butter, all the things that should raise his cholesterol. It's what our bodies produce, diet doesn't change that. And for the love of God, please avoid statins. I'm waiting for a study to be done on Alzheimer's and dementia patients and the length of time many took statins during their lives. Our brains need cholesterol, suppressing the body's production can't be good for our brains.

I'm on day 5 of this weight loss hack, and I'm down 12 lbs (I have a lot to lose), and once I got over the hump, I'm feeling great. This has caused me to come head to head with my emotional eating... I didn't realize how much I ate due to emotions and not true hunger until I couldn't eat for 18 hours in a day... Totally do not feel deprived on this plan... I am just being forced to handle my emotions in a healthier way... And that's a very good thing. Thank you so much for your videos. I find them so helpful, and I share them with my family and friends.

@@liyacarolyn6055 thank you for your message. I'm currently not following the plan (which I hate, because the plan works so beautifully) due to taking a financial hit. In my neck of the woods, one family package of chicken (with the skin on) costs about $16. I never felt so good energy wise and health wise than when I was following this eating plan. On a positive note, I'm starting therapy to help work through the emotional eating issues at a local low cost clinic. I've found that when I was doing the diet, my incidents of anxiety attacks and depression lessened greatly. Any suggestions on how to do this diet cheaply (even hot dogs near me cost $6 / pack unless on sale), I'm all ears. I'm even considering relocating for financial reasons. Anything to be able to get back on this diet, because it was soooo working for me.

How can so many people eat so much meat and don't feel sick !?? I just can't do it :(( when i was a tren and în my 20s i used to eat more meat, but now I'm down to 3 times or less per week. When i eat more meat my blood pressure goes up, i'm nervos, more aggressive and unhappy/moody. I know this sounds weird to meat lovers, i do like meat, but my body hates it.. And let's not forget the amount of added amount of growth hormones în the meat these days, unhealthy when you think about it

40y/o female here. 10 days in and I’m fitting in size 8 (was 10 pushing 12) pants. This is working crazy fast for me, and it’s noticeable to others. I was not keto before so probably had a big whoosh just from water weight. I haven’t stepped on the scale yet but will at 30 days. The crazy part is I’ve mostly stopped my long daily walks (have very low blood pressure as a norm and struggle in heat). Was doing these walks for at least an hour, usually 2, everyday for months. Saw zero change in body (though I still love walking and will make it part of my daily routine when temperatures drop some).10 days of bbbe has made a huge difference.

@@andrewrice2820 I did it for 26 days but really struggled to get enough calories in. I’m just doing regular carnivore now. Haven’t cheated at all but did happily add dairy into my diet. Feel great. I’m down 20 pounds. Would like to lose another 10-15 but happy to do regular carnivore and slow down the weight loss.

I figured out the OMAD thing on my own decades ago everyone told me I was crazy so I stopped mentioning but ignored everyone and kept it as my way always. Never have done keto or carnivore I’m gonna drop the F bomb… Fiber… 😅😅. I am new to doing KETO correctly (no starchy vegs) and have had great results, but I am at a plateau with my weight and blood sugar. I started KETO the middle of January with a tested A1c of 13 (no joke) and sugars now are a solid average of 168.9 of 199 tests. I want to take it to the next level and get OFF the insulin shot and off the diabetes type 2 med (Farxiga), so I am going to do this BBB&E challenge. It sounds GREAT!!!

When I started carnivore I was able to fast 23/1 and longer without hunger. I still eat, but never hungry to eat.

What great advice. For just under 2 years, I've been Keto/Carnivore and have learned that I need to fine tune as I go. What you just shared was instrumental in helping me lose 114 pounds. Having no carbs for 2 yrs? Did u suffer from any hormonal or nutritional imbalance like disturbed monthly cycles or hair loss?

Lost 16 lbs in 30 days! Worked pretty well I’d say. Energy levels fluctuated for sure, but I think I could supplement that later in the future when I try this again

I did extreme keto. 8 months to lose only 13 lbs. I’m severe Hashimoto hypothyroidism. My TSH went through the roof. My thyroid got worse, and I lost a ton of hair. Glad it helps others

Yes, everyone is different. I have Hoshimotos too and severe hormone issues. I was fully in menopause by 34 and keto and If is the only thing that works. Lost 50 pounds in 2020 doing it.

This diet works. And its easy. Diabetes can be reversed by eating this way as well. This has worked better than anything i have tried, similar to Atkins and it makes sense thank you for sharing your knowledge Dr.

Thanks Dr. Berry! I did KETO with Intermittent Fasting eating One Meal a Day (OMAD) from August 2020 to December 2020 and lost 50 pounds. Transitioned to Carnivore January 2021 to present and lost 40, total 90 pounds with no exercise.

@@TheMerlynb My understanding isn’t that they lost 50 pounds on Keto in about 5 months, then went to the stricter Carnivore for about 5 months and lost an additional 40 pounds. They didn’t state the exact duration or the days of the month that they started and finished on, but it seems like they may have lost about 10 pounds more on Keto. Initial weight does seem to come off easier than when you hit a plateau eventually. Maybe that occurred?

Been on Keto six months now and I’ve lost 50 pounds… started at 198 pounds and I couldn’t agree more! Intermittent fasting certainly helps!

@@amymay2442 count your totals carbs, not "net". I started at 220 lbs, and went to 154 lbs by keeping my carbs to 20 grams a day, IT (intermittent fasting), and OMAD (one meal a day). And I binged on Dr Berry videos. Best wishes.

@@nancyissa4781 Thanks for asking. It took me about nine months. First I learned what not to eat, then learned OMAD and IT. I also discovered that Bragg's apple cider vinegar is a magic bullet for weight loss. I didn't exercise, but as I progressed I became more naturally active because I could do so without pain. At the 50 lb mark, I climbed Mt. Konocti with my daughter, and the following month was in a 5K obstacle course with my granddaughters. I was 65 at the time. And I went from size 16/18 jeans to size 8. No more bloat, acid reflux, joint pain, carb binges, and avoiding socializing. I hope this helps and encourages you.

I had bariatric surgery a little over two years ago. I’ve struggled for the last year or so, and I think I’m finally ready to try something a bit more drastic to get this weight off. I had gotten to within 50 pounds of my goal weight, but then gained back 35 of the 115 pounds I lost. So now I’m around 85 pounds from my goal. My plan is to do this hack for at least a month, then slowly add in other meats and eventually a small amount of dairy. My only issue is that I won’t be able to stick to a 6 hour eating window. Because I can’t eat a lot in one sitting, I won’t meet my protein goals if I limit myself to a 6 hour eating window. I can’t wait to start!

@@kclayne7241 They are frozen pieces of butter that have been browned (not burnt) in a skillet then poured into some sort of mould like silicone. Neisha Berry has a KZfaq video on how to make them - I can't figure out how to link here 😂 but just type her name into the search bar. Sadly it turns out that the butter reacts negatively with me (histamine problems) so I had to cut it out...

Been doing this for not quite 2 weeks. I cannot tell you the weight loss because I have stayed off the scales. But I was wearing 42 jeans 2 weeks ago and yesterday bought 38s. My BP was OUTRAGEOUS. I know some will say no way but it was averaging 175/95...has been as high as 215/105. In TWO WEEKS it has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY. This morning my wife said "you look 15 years younger". THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEOS.

A general rule of thumb is 8 maybe 9 pounds will cause you to go up or down a size. 42 jeans to 38 if I am not mistaken that is two sizes for men’s sizing, you lost around 16-18 pounds at minimum in two weeks. That is amazing.

Starting today June 16, 2024 Starting Weight:214.6 Goal weight: 135-140 Going for 90 days to start and will update periodically on my channel. I can do this!! I've already been on Carnivore/ketovore since August 1,2023...I was down 60+lbs and gained back 15 when I fell off...I am ready to gooooo!
