Many of the scenes that had been cut off and eliminated. They've brought it back and distributed in RE2 Remake, RE3 Remake, and Code Veronica if you ever play and consider it. Such as the scene with the electric shutter door , parking lot area and the storage area before entering the Lab. Anyway, I love it and I'm glad to see it brought back to almost perfection by the fan game.

It's nice to see the similarities and what they changed.

The one resident evil 1 began with a gigantic,mysterious mansion so beautiful yet so full of horrors,the story line and every thing is perfect as some survivors escaped o that beautiful mansions from the forest but these games afterwards all of these made around the same time are just wonderful with one exception that one thinks if the graphics were a little better,on the play station level just like RE 3 or a little more these games are never the less far so interestingly their own enchanting world.

this game looks really good!!! too bad they don't release it as an "out of the series" game, I can only like the resident classics from the residentvil4 on it's bad for me my dream was for capcom to release a resident evil in the classic style but with HD graphics

Love the subtle humor. :-) It's interesting to see just how far fans have managed to take this prototype. The original was barely functional, very, very pre-alpha feeling. It really is amazing watching you play through this so naturally, without needing to use the debug menu I'm so used to seeing. Maybe one day we'll be able to see the mythical "near-final" build running side-by-side with this. That would be awesome.

1. code number 0131, and 0513 are the code we found in RE 3 to unlock the drawer in RPD. JUST BECOME EASTER EGG IN THIS VERSION. and we know what the original is. 2. in water control sewer, there is tifa mascot ff7. glad to see her here wkwkwwkwk 3. RPD in this version look more realistic than the original. expecially there are many toilets (we not found it in original), huge and more cellroom, and very make sense of the dimension of parking lot. (and the worst of original is the east office had miss calculating the level that start from level -120 in the 1f east waiting room ended in 0 to office without any ramp or stairs). all of them have been reconstructed and improved in RE2 remake 4. here zombie walk more rusher, this really challenging !!, instead they slower in reacting, ThiS IS BIG NO. we need this as the reference. 5. why--oh why capcom not bring back gorilaz zombie or monkey zombie in next RE?? i love that since RE1. 6. character can die jumping from higher XD. 7. most sequence in umbrela lab we probably recognize as RE2 fans, but shorter in narative. 8. i though John is the one spy beside Ada, because name John and Ada listed in RE1

This is amazing! I would have loved to have had the opportunity to explore this version of the RPD. The only thing I must say I don't really like are the zombie apes, the way they swing from the roof kinda remind me of the Chimeras from RE1 in a different skin..

Officer Roy Rogers looks hurt 😄. It's still cool to see 1.5 playable. I need to play this version, it's what 10 year old me back in 97 would have wanted after seeing this version in the magazine previews back then. In some ways this police department actually looks better before the complete overhaul.

Definitely see alot of places close to resident evil remake 2 along with that music that plays in Sherry's mission in the remake, thats crazy! Its like the content that was cut here and was put into the remake!

I wish they weren't so eager to scrap this game, it really shows in the finished version I played RE2 since it was new when I was 11, after a few plays I always think - Man there is alot of emphasis on the RPD but after that there is like nothing they lose interest in puzzles and their horror element. RE1 had the best formula = Mansion>Guardhouse>Mansion again>Underground> Lab I always think someone bitched about the battery thing in the guard house so they kinda kept their games simpler after that?

Although Elza was a prototype, but she still got lots of fans for decades. Hope she can be reintroduced to the canon even though it is less likely now.

1.5 한때 있다없다로 말이 많았던 작품인데 그전에 저도 구해본건 온갖 버그가 심해서 플레이가 안되는 버전이었는데 이건 재대로 끝까지 할 수 있는 버전이군요!
