I personally believe that Kure Erioh does have a 100% removal rate. Since Raian’s Removal was considered similar to Prime Erioh’s. I got the implication that out of all the Kure’s spawned from Erioh that Raian was the one who get his fighting spirit.

Agito: "They underestimate us" It's damn good character with amazing progression arc and just so many aspects to him. I personally really like his near schizophrenic personality as it's basically combination of least 2 genius fighters in one, not to mention his actual physical specs which are still probably in top 7 (with only monster-like characters reigning above)

Yumi is pretty strong but his height is the disadvantage when fighting smaller opponents since misasa had his technique which is silat. Silat technique had high advantage in fighting higher opponents.

In the manga Lolong said that Monke couldn’t fight to his fullest due to the fight’s special rules so he might’ve been better if it was just a regular fight then the hype train around him might’ve not derailed so much

i place omori is the 3rd strongest so far atleast. he didn't really lose against kanoh since what we saw was kind of a stalemate not to mention it seemed like his goal was to help kanoh out with his weakness (which he was the only one to notice btw). so he should be atleast R2 Kanoh level which already puts him above misasa.

I like these rankings but I think now we can confidently put Erioh above Agito. Lolong stated that he believes Raian is Fang level which likely refers to Agito, with Raian basically losing to Edward Wu. And Erioh believed that in his prime he would’ve crushed Edward like a bug.

But the 4th fang is Katahara's main bodyguard right? Isn't that the highest rank among the bodyguards besides the Fang? Don't you think that makes the 4th stronger than the 8th?

Nice video. There are a few facts though that I think could change the ranking. 1. Monkey boy was at least partially beat due to rules against Misasa and has 5 losses, which due to the nature of purgatory may have been because of someone using the rules. So he may be stronger than we give him credit for. I still think Misasa is stronger but it might not have been so one sided. 2. Omori was not actually trying to beat Kanoh in their fight, he was trying to teach him. And at least one witness to the fight though omori should still be the fighter for Metsudo. 3. Both omori and erioh actually won their annihilation tournaments which presumably had close to or as many high level fighters which is something Agito didn't accomplish.

My theory on characters rating each other. “Don’t trust the weak” or rather the “weaker” in an anime. There judgement of the strong is just as bliss as the strongest comparing the weak. Until you are close or on that level is when you can judge the power of a person.

Yumi is the proof that you shouldn't hype up a character if you're not ready to deliver. Either the author fucked up the hype or he fucked up the fight. I'm betting on the later. It would have benefited everyone if Yumi had looked a lot better in that fight.

Why do people don’t understand that hikaru is not weak. He lost because when the fight starts he has the upperhand but he didn’t get serious. He just made fun of misasa and underestimated him. He just realize that misasa is no joke when the light gets thinner. But that’s too late for him due to his size, He now has limited movement and misasa took advantage of that. Hikaru is not weak, he is just so dumb. If they didn’t fight with those special rules, I think it will be a very close fight but i still think misasa can pull it off

I like Agito but Misasa is my favorite atm , it was so satisfying to see him finish that shithead Yumi with that brutal combo. Tbh I have no idea how he stepped in Kanoh shoes as a fang since Takayama was best in line IMO . But I guess we needed a side story for Omega.

Well judging from newer chapters I would say that Erioh is the strongest fang when he was in his prime. Hell prime Erioh might have been the strongest fighter we have seen in the series period.

Monkey statements aren't wrong since he's more than likely talking asura agito and just fought someone well above him it's 2 years later .asura agito more than likely gets clowned in purgatory

I’m not gonna lie a lot of the purgatory fighters have disappointed because the author is trying to make this an equal showdown. I get it but look at their wins Kengan got more dominating wins then purgatory.

You have flawed understanding of how combat works. *STYLES MAKE FIGHTS.* You are clearly swayed by triangle theories. Just because A beats B and B beats C doesn't mean that A beats C. And that's exactly what all your suppositions are based on. If characters who are ranked high give their estimations, wouldn't those estimations be more reliable than yours? An example is Agito defeating Hatsumi. Many who read the manga where those two had a match and Hatsumi lost quite quickly might think that Agito was superior. But one who remembered the elements of the story know better. The top bodyguards had to take Agito aside and TEACH HIM AN ADDITIONAL TECHNIQUE that Agito did not have in order to stand a chance against Hatsumi. They were worried that without it, Hatsumi's skills would have negated Agito's skillset .. and so they had to offer assistance to a character that many thought was already the strongest. The sad part is that if Hatsumi reappears in the story and takes out nearly everyone to make it to the semi finals, everyone who had underestimated him will then have to scurry to make videos discussing how powerful Hatsumi "has become" .. which is ridiculous .. because Hatsumi was already asked to be Fang BEFORE Agito. Things that appear on panel don't necessarily tell the WHOLE story. They just reveal what's happening right now. But if anyone has noticed, we all learn more from FLASHBACKS than we do from action that's happening in the present moments. I like Agito .. and he was introduced to be the supposed standard for all others are measured against. Then came Kuroki ... who is the new standard .. having defeated Agito, Ohma and the rest of the Kengan fighters he faced. Still, I've seen people argue that Agito is now stronger than Kuroki now because of some comment Kuroki made while watching Agito's Purgatory match! This is a classic example of of how people allow TALK to influence judgement that should only ever be influenced by winning. Agito has NEVER beaten Kuroki. And a champion doesn't lose his belt because his defeated foe looks good elsewhere. We don't know that Yumi couldn't defeat other fighters that many now believe are more powerful. In a way, what you're saying is disrespectful to Misasa. Misasa is powerful enough that Agito calls him sensei and as you mentioned, Donaire says he would have difficulty fighting or defeating him. This is the same Donaire who has spoken of nearly every fighter as if they weren't worth consideration. So you're estimations are flawed because you believe that one loss to one style means that a fighter is now vulnerable to ALL styles .. which is preposterous. Yumi might defeat everyone in Kengan/Purgatory tournament with the exception of Misasa, Donaire and Ohma. We just don't know. Just because *A FANG* who is powerful enough to be acknowledged by two of the most powerful fighters in the Kengan universe beat Yumi over a personal gripe doesn't mean that anyone else could. And it was absurd to suggest otherwise.

Misasa stomps omori there won't even be a challenge as i remember omori lost to kanoh in kengan asura in early fights while misasa was praised by lolong (probably the best purgatory fighter) there is no way kanoh in kengan asura (early rounds) would be able to fight lolong somewhat equally and omori lost to agito Again misasa stomps without any problem
