I think the seige at Harlech beats the one at Kenilworth. Harlech Castle Sieges Edward's forces recaptured the castle a year later. The castle also endured a seven-year siege during the Wars of the Roses. This is the longest siege in British history. It is said that the beautiful tune 'Men of Harlech' was composed during this siege. It would have been great to see Kenilworth in it full glory.

There's no doubt this is one the great castles of Great Britain ,its outer defensive's are as good as Caerphilly in Wales.I missed visting this castle many years ago when I went to Warwick castle.Last year I was able to visit it while on holiday in the area.You are both very good on your history of the castles you visit.I did wonder (unless I missed it) why you did't rate it,I thik you would have given it a 9.5. Thank you

hello great video, did you have to get permission before to film there? or did they just let you do your thing?

Hey Billy Jesus. You would need permission for commercial filming, so if you were to make money in any way from the filming etc then this would be considered commercial. Our videos fall into the non-commercial (or personal use) category - we don't make any money at all from our videos (even the music is our own compositions), no brand sponsors or any sponsors involved, we don't sell any merch etc. This is just a personal hobby for us as we love castles! EH don't permit drone flights over their properties, but you can fly over public land providing you abide by the CAA's rules
