Hi Ken. Thanks for another great Dimash reaction. I agree that western music has lost it's poetry. That, I think, is one of the main reasons I am so drawn to Dimash and his music. The songs he chooses to sing are full of poetry and emotion and make me WANT to listen to him. It wasn't always this way in the west, but in the last 40-50 years, we lost our romance. Dimash single-handedly brought music back into my life, and I am forever grateful to him for that.

People always wait for his big belting and sustain note and all the vocal aerobatics. That is phenomenal . However, singing slow pace is very difficult that many people don’t realize and sleep on it. Singing slow like Dimash require amazing breath control like not off pitch but right at the edge and then continue on the next phrase like legatto. Singing slow needs more air regulation and air pressure to release to not make it out of breath , yet hanging there at the edge with emotions and intimacy!!! Not mention all the technique he blends perfectly while doing all that breath control! He is the vocal legend of the century already. ❤

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Fourteen(14) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S.

Wonderful, wonderful reaction! I'm so glad you addressed the unfamiliar expression of love in our Western music. From the first time I watched this performance I have wanted to say out loud, "Hey men, THIS is how every woman wants to be spoken to; romanced. You want more from your wife? Study this and give her what she needs for her heart and emotions. You will end up with putty in your hands!!!"😉 I think that's about the highest praise I can give to Dimash as a singer/performer, too. Not many can do what he does to an audience.❤‍🔥

Thank you. Gush away. It is so easy to gush about Dimash’s expressive hands, face, his whispers about the beauty of love, his artistic use of silence. And the power of Dimash’s belting of the deep desire of Love Like a Dream. When I listen to this song I hold my breath and feel myself suspended in rich beauty. Like his deep burgundy velvet suit. 👉 What a beautiful interpretation of this song by Dimash. I love watching the faces of the vbloggers when after the heartbeats, the incredulous or ecstatic faces suddenly spread a big smile and turn into happy faces. Maestro Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash presented the song first on Alla Pugachova's 70th birthday on April 2019. She is a famous singer in Russia. The event took place in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow. Maestro Krutoy composed this song 28 years ago for Alla Pugacheva. Valerya Gorbacheva wrote the beautiful words. Now Igor and Dimash have refreshed the song and Dimash made it his song, incomparably beautiful. The interpretation is completely different from the original. I melt away every time I hear the song. * Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship. Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'. By the way, all Dears should also subscribe to Igor's channel. He deserves it and also flowers from the Russian Dears. - Alla Pugacheva - Love is like a dream - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7uApqic25PXj6c.html - Lara Fabian later also sang this song: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oMuZlM5q17GRoZc.html She is a great role model for Dimash. What a great reaction! Dimash is always thrilling but he really shines with this piece. He has moved back to the States after 2 or 3 international concert tours and the heartbreaking loss of his Papa, (paternal grandfather). The grandfather who along with his grandmother solely raised Dimash his first ten years of life. (A Kazak tradition) and then the entire family moved in together and they never ceased being his parents along with Kanat and Sveta. He made a lovely promo short at Malibu Beach a couple of days ago and it is stunning.

Great reaction and greetings from Minneapolis! 🌲🌞🌲 SUBSCRIBED Thank you for featuring my favorite Dimash performance, 'Love is Like a Dream.' Igor Krutoy wrote this song for his earlier muse, Russian singer Alla Pugacheva, whose ravaged voice worked well with the Autumnal romance theme of the lyrics. I can't help but wonder if when he came out of his (billionaire's) retirement after hearing Dimash's 'Sinful Passion' he was thinking, "What could a voice like this do with 'Love is Like a Dream'?" (By the way, Pugacheva is considered to be a gay icon in Russia by the Russian LGBT community; the song seems a bit camp in her performance. ) The spellbinding "Ava Maria, Ava amour" descant hymn section is not in Igor's prior versions with Pugacheva. To me, this section is a paean to the eternal feminine, that part of our spirit that is eternally loving, healing and generative. It's as if he is saying, "My earthly love for you burns from within with something Celestial, Holy." And it's so damn beautiful it's made me cry more times than I can count. 😭 I also like the way the song shows off so much of Dimash's range in both timbre and pitch (even though, in other live performances he has produced strong whistle tones two octaves higher with strong vibrato and duration). And the many ornaments Dimash has added, e. g. the lovely mordents on "I love you", truly make the song his own.

He rides the wave of silence and suspense with the same skill as wrapping notes in just enough breath without losing the tone. It is always just a little longer that you would expect, but a millisecond before you would lose focus. I think it is very skillful and difficult to master.

Yes, we here in the US don't get these sophisticated love songs, just silly cookie cutter pop songs. The US music scene finds a song and or style that is "new" and then, all they do is look for more of the same by different artists. Igor Krutoy, normally when he's at the piano, he is the composer of that song, not always, but most of the time. He's a genius, and what a catch he got when he and Dimash joined up. A composers Dream Thanks for all of your comments Ken. You really know what you are talking about, not just reacting. Love from a Disciple of Dimash, Los Angeles Chapter

Thank you , Ken . This is one of my favorite songs and performances . My problem is that there are already too many of them (my favorites). And my top 10 songs and performances of Dimash already contain about 30-40 equal ones. 😍 With love from Bulgaria ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Ken, You mentioned that if you were sitting in the audience near the stage, the power of his voice would send shivers down your spine. I can't tell you how many people who have had seats within the front section of the stage comment on the power of his voice and that some sounds feel like it pierces the body! There is absolutely no doubt for these people that he is singing live due to the power and intensity of his singing and certain aspects of his vocal performances like the tribal guttural (spelling?) calling/tone or extremely low Buddhist monk tones he hums that resonate through one's body. A head sound engineer who has been in charge of hundreds of live shows says that when IMAX screens are used in concerts, a lag time of 8 images within 30 creates a lag time the human eye can perceive and even if the person is singing live, because the image isn't in sink, it can make it look as if a person isn't singing when they're singing live. When I find the expert who said this, I'll come back and edit this comment so you know who the person is. The head sound engineer has been head of house in hundreds of famous bands. This isn't to say that Dimash never lip-synch, he has been open and honest that he has had to lip-synch either because he sang 3 nights in a row and has lost a part of his voice or that at certain venues, he hasn't been given a choice. Dimash has said this has most often is Russia and sometimes in China. I can see that performances at the Kremlin or in certain television shows, performances must be performed without any problems and be exact. I think that's just reality. Dimash has said in a couple ofhis interviews that he always prefers to sing live but sometimes he's just not given the option. I think normal people that are not in the music industry can't possibly judge this since we really don't know what involved or the requirements for each performance. I trust Dimash sings when he can.

This song composed by Igor Krutoy with lyrics by Russian poetess Valerya Gorbacheva was written in 1994 specifically for the composer's Creative Evenings series and was originally performed by famous Russian singer Alla Pugachev. It won “Song of the Year” in 1994 and the Ovation prize for “Song of the Decade” in 2001. A number of artists covered this song, including Lara Fabian who rewrote the lyrics for her performance. Dimash performed this song at the 2019 "A Gift for Alla" Concert celebrating the 70th anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow at the State Kremlin Palace. Dimash’s interpretation of this song is absolutely stunning, showcasing his unbelievable range as well as his exquisite control over the dynamics of the song. The arrangement with Igor at the piano and the string orchestra in the background is both lush and elegant like most of Igor’s compositions. What a wonderful birthday present for Alla and the rest of the audience!
