OH MY! This makes me so sad...I remember Kenneth as one of the Greene brothers on the TV show "JERICHO"....he was so wonderful! I can empathize with Kenneth, as I have Tourette's Syndrome and Myoclonus, both neurological disorders that take control of my muscles, making me twitch, shake and tic from my face to my feet, every hour of every day. Like ALS, Tourette's and Myoclonus are incurable and are relentless in their progression.

There is not much that can be said, that truely consoles a broken heart like this. But after watching this and learning about you, i can say this: you are the bravest man I have ever come to know. I had no idea one could endure so much and still keep keep fighting. And yet, here you are! You have shown me that no matter how bad things may get, you NEVER give up! You live each day to the fullest and share your experiences and wisdom so that others can learn from you and grow. You have the tenacious courage of a klingon, the wisdom of a vulcan and most importantly, the kind heart of a human. I will forever carry you and your story in my heart. Live Long and Prosper, my friend! 🖖

Good on Ken, and all the production staff here, for sharing this story. I hope he gets better, even if it's not likely; him doing inspirational things helps all of us move and be better than we would have likely been prior.

Live long and prosper my friend. You will be missed, but never forgotten. "Death is that state in which one exists only in the memory of others. Which is why it is not an end. No good byes, just good memories." -- Tasha Yar (STTNG: "Skin of Evil")

My very, very best to you, Mr. Mitchell. It is a profound statement just how far the US has fallen that you have to travel to South Korea for stem cell treatment. But there you have it. You have brought a great deal to the Star Trek franchise and Discovery's story. Bless you, sir.

This is powerful to see - and you were right, bro: it'll help people. And not only ones affected by ALS. It's helping anyone going through things where hope seems scant. Thank you for honesty and the compassion you revealed for others. Rest in paradise, Ken. May extra angels of comfort meet your beloved on the path.

@woodrude784 ай бұрын
Ds9 was awesome, assuming you've watched them where do you add Discovery, Strange New Worlds & Lower Decks? My own list almost matches yours, Ds9, Tng, Voy, Enterprise, Tos, Strange New worlds, Lower decks then at the very end Discovery. I grew up with TNG so I that's why Tos is Lower on my list

Why does whether you like the show or not matter on a video about an actor battling a horrific disease?
