This decision has made me a fan of the franchise for life. To take such a powerful and dramatic performer, and give him another opportunity to practice his craft in the middle of such a devastating circumstance, is an amazing display of loyalty and courage for both the performer and the production.

Okay, I'm officially shook. I honestly don't know if I could face what Ken is facing with such grace and honor. I also just started binge-watching this series, and I didn't know of his condition. This video makes me love Star Trek and the community all that much more. Best of luck to you, Ken... we all love the characters that you bring to the table. "Live long, and prosper, Brother"

Thank you for sharing a little from the recent life of Kenneth Mitchel. I knew about his disease when I saw his performance in the 3rd season, then I discovered he played other characters, but this video is more comprehensive. Now I knew that last August he lost the ability to speak. I found some comfort and joy knowing that the crew, cast and production worked so well with him, facing the illness and making solutions in the best ways all they could, making great work, having so much meaningfulness for all, and I was surprised for his love for Star Trek, in ways we just (perhaps barely) can imagine.

I always thought this style of Klingon's were complexly over stylized and very annoying. I did not like any of them, they were gross, loud, belligerent, extreme, too loud , always yelling about some offense they suffered in a heavy dark, guttural never ending bloviating cacophony of loud annoying noises.
