ANOTHER LATENCY ABLETON TRICK (2:00 mark) is hit option, and check reduced latency while monitoring. If you do both mentioned in the video and that trick you're solid :)

For noise gates I print my NS1 by waves while I record at at 36 setting. This eliminates any background noise because I don't have a door. I recently invested in acoustic treatment so the room echo is no longer a problem for me

Ohh nd if Your room is reverby The Eyeball won't do much. Treat the wall behind you with acoustic panels (or 2" thick acoustic foam) nd you won't notice the reverb that much

36 is a little hard on the gate for me. I gotta keep the NS1 below 15 or 10 otherwise it will swallow some of my vocals.

If you use OTT on your vocal track...do not use a gate...all u have to do is compress the highs......u will know what I mean when u do it....eliminates any of that extra shit u dont need

you can go to audio settings and change the sample rate or changing the buffer length to something smaller has seemed to help me the most but you should look up a video to make sure it’s at a good setting that won’t overload your computer

GUYSS!!! DO NOT TOUCH THE DRIVER ERROR COMPENSATION OPTION ( 1:32 IN THE VIDEO ) that does not help with the latency is just an indicative for an error in the latency info but does not affect latency if u need to use this option is only if u see in the driver settings a diferent latency that the one that ableton shows

There it goes the one guy sharing misinformation about the Driver Error Compensation setting. Only if you would read the manual instead of just believing everything you see online... "It does not affect latency" According to Ableton: "If the recording is out of sync with the monitored signal, then it's likely that you need to adjust the DEC amount." It doesn't affect overall latency during playback but it does during recordings, which is the exact topic of the video.

@Glacier Sound rn my latency is 3mms but he said he was able to compensate and have negative latency. There's mostly likely hardware or another processor he's using. I've been on my music journey for about 6 Years
