Michael and Kenny worked a lot together in the studio. Working on both of their solo albums. So yes, this is Michael’s organ/ keyboards, and background vocals. If you ever get a chance to see Michael live, its life changing.

Kenny loggins is a really really great singer. He can sing soul, a love ballad, folk, rock and roll, hes one of the best singers of his generation.

There is something about Kenny's voice that is so pleasing, comforting even if it's a sad song. Definitely a Doobie Bros. vibe, with Michael background voice.

This songs was a combination of great contributions. Loggins co-wrote and co-arranged the song with Michael McDonald and David Foster; both played Rhodes and keyboards on the songs also. Playing the sax solo was the great David Sanborn. Background vocals were by Richard Page and Steve George from the group Mr. Mister. GREAT SONG!

Kenny and Michael were in the Dobie Brothers and co-wrote a lot of their song including What A Fool Believes hence the Dobie sound

I forgot about this one! Kenny had a lot of hits in the late 1970's and early 1980's! Especially on movie soundtracks! Michael McDonald, a one time Doobie Brother did a lot of back up vocals around that time! One that comes to mind is Christopher Cross's Ride Like The Wind! I've said it before, as I am saying it now! Music is Magic and Magical!

Kenny's duet with Shanice in the 90s is quite the magical romantic vibe. The live music arrangement and backup singers..makes you want to have been there! Its called Love Will Follow - Live from the Redwoods (Outside)

Appreciate that this is the music video but absolutely abhor the truncated sections, especially with the sax and at the end. I don’t understand the producer’s need to abridge this classic.

Michael McDonald did a lot of background for Kenny Loggins and some co-writing, but then he was the go-to background vocalist of the 80's in addition to his work with the Doobie Brothers and solo work.
