@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN You mean his “I have 3 things to say” repetitive promos? If you can cut a promo, you don’t need a mouthpiece like Okada did. I forget the guy’s name all these years later, but he’d frequently say at the end of his part of the promos “that’s bc the Rainmaker is on a whole different level bastards!” If you can cut a decent promo, you don’t need a mouthpiece cutting promos for you. Kenny can’t cut promos in Japanese or English and he’s fluent in both. It’s not a knock on Okada fanboy. It’s a fact. Can he cut a better Japanese promo? Of course. But he’s not even in the top 500 on planet earth in that category, but is easily top 5 in the ring, maybe top 3. His feud with Tanahashi is arguably the best feud ever. But it was bc of the stories they told in the matches, with their performance beginning the second they started their walkouts. That’s phenomenal acting…but it’s not phenomenal promo work. And the fuck you coming at me for? I’m 100% entitled to my opinion and you’re not gonna change my mind.

Real ones remember his ascent to leadership of the Bullet Club at AJ Styles' expense, and the clinics he's put on since then. This theme was one of the backdrops to some of the greatest matches I personally have ever seen, even being lucky enough to witness their time limit draw at Dominion 6.11 in-person. Fuck Dave Meltzer though, he never gave Kurt Angle a 5☆ match, thus anything he says kinda soils my viewing experience lmao.
