Dad would play this when I was younger. He and I ran a tree service in Michigan. We would hit the highway and turn this on. The old Ford Ranger engine growling like a monster. The chainsaw oil, gas, woodchips, and just the rumble...oh God good times. I'm 20 now and this still hits hard.

Played this literally on repeat as I went to see Top Gun Maverick. I said out loud in the theater if they don’t play Danger Zone I would be disappointed. Without spoilers, it was literally the first song of the film. People turned around grinning at me since I had just made that remark. Great film, Top Gun Maverick. 10/10 definitely had me having “THE NEED… THE NEED FOR SPEED!!”

I was active duty Navy when Top Gun was released. Watched it in the Fleet Theater in Yokosuka, Japan. And yes, the Navy screwed up by not having recruiters in the lobby after the movie. We were young and full of piss and vinegar and would have upped for 4 more years right on the spot.
