👋 WHO AM I:
Hi, I'm Kenny and I created this channel for you!
It has been my experience that the media, society, and our parents often teach us to avoid admitting, facing, or talking about any of our negative feelings and experiences.
This belief system cripples us. As a result, we are without the basic skills to navigate the simplest of life's ups and downs.
Even worse, it creates a separation from our authentic self because we learn the world will shame us for our slightest imperfection.
My life turned around when I realized that the answer is in the opposite.
I discovered that the solution to an authentic life lies in our ability to admit, accept, and love our perfect imperfections.
That can only happen when we heal the pain from the past that created the shame by becoming trauma informed.
Because when we make peace with even the darkest parts of ourselves, we are capable of loving ALL of ourselves. Therefore we are authentic.
Without it, we are stuck in purgatory. Instead, we are reliving the original pain and shame in our relationships, career, health, and hobbies.
Therefore, the secret to avoiding a life stuck in limbo is developing emotional mastery.
When we gain that knowledge, develop it into a skill that becomes a tool, we stop picking toxic relationships.
We don't settle for unsatisfying careers. We don't struggle with depression or health issues. We stop the self-sabotage!
In short, we develop a deep emotional calm, peace, personal love, trust, and respect for ourselves that we can now share with others.
If that is what you want, you are in the right place.
I am excited to be a part of YOUR journey in helping you to heal the pain from your past, love your perfect imperfections, and reclaim your authentic self by developing Emotional Mastery!

I didn't feel harshness coming from you not even once. Sometimes when I'm listening and resonating with what you're saying the way you look into the camera I feel like we're actually having a conversation. It's a little odd but yet comforting. Keep up the good work I'm learning all kinds of stuff!

I just found you today! I've listened to several videos and am loving them. I'm going through divorce (28 yrs of marriage) , death (suicide)of my father, and had to place my Mom into a nursing home. Quite a lot over the last two years. What you're saying makes sense. I know we carry so much pain and expectations from our childhood into our adult relationships. I'll keep listening! Thank you 💕

I love your humility Kenny and your delivery. I’m 73 and interested in what you have to say, even if I don’t always agree with everything. One of the best life lessons is after all to learn to agree to disagree - right? I’ve had an interesting life with many life lessons especially as I have been married three times to three totally different partners. I wish I could have had access to your life lessons when I was young but of course there were no podcasts, videos, social media and the like. People are so lucky these days to have access to so much knowledge at their fingertips. I shall watch all of your pods with great interest - thank you for your inherent kindness.

Good morning from theUK. Now that is interesting. The fact that you have replied. Did you personally reply or was it a member of your 'team'? If in fact you have one? I am really big on replying if I receive a msg from someone, its very important to me. Even if someone replies with 'pls dont msg me again.' If I dont take that on board and continue to msg and then that person does not reply, fair enough. I really am quite fascinated by your content Kenny, if I may address you by your name, quite fascinated. For as long as I can remember I have been telling my 3 sons when discussing the bully/victim dynamic, that both parties are at play here...BOTH. In my extensive research and copious amount of watching videos/podcasts etc I havent until YOU seen/heard someone talking about BOTH sides as you clearly do. Your 'self deception/self denial ' running themes ON THE MONEY. I have progressed on my own journey to this place and it is FASCINATING. Thank you very much. Much love :)

Yeeesss. You do a great job. This is all correct, after awareness and after this painful seeing and feelings and after healing, life is much improving….fully agree! And you get immun to abuse as well, you even see the helplessness and sadness behind their aggressions and blamings….and you see the lack of own boundaries and your own self betrayal. Bravo, I find you communicate that difficult topic very well!

As a speaker, you are gentle and caring. You are elegant like gabor mate. I think because you are so honest about yourself that it garners trust from those who are seeking out how to heal. Your videos are heartfelt and that's what makes them connective as well as resonating. Great videos great demonstration of vulnerability and honesty. And that's what we all need from eachother 🥰

Your kind of honesty is not harsh it's what it takes to get through to us that are in denial !!!! When my husband went into alcohol rehab in the 1980's i was telling the intake person everything he did (of course) and she quietly listened and when I was finished she quietly asked me ". Do you drink too? " I said yes but not like he does. She then set off a bomb in my realizations she said " ...and you allowed him to do all of this to you and you were sober ". It is isn't it.....feels good.... GREAT even. I have put alot of me behind what I thought I wanted, And thought I couldn't live without, and came to a realization after your video.... I don't think it is love....I don't think I even know what healthy love feels like. It's the lonely me that has retried 3 x in a 5-6 yr span, going back on 3 different ocations thinking that it's not that bad, he's worth it.... that is just enabling him to disrespect....not only me but himself as well(. He would never see it in that way....not only self sabotaging but feeling like life is being pulled from my own existence. How could I let this happen to me... Crazy shit !!! So I think I'm finally seeing the insanity of the relation that was. Thanks to your words....it doesn't hurt me like it did. I've never felt like taking my own life ever....my dog helped me alot too... with the lonely~ness. I am not so sure if it's true what he says. That the partner is not responsible for meeting your needs and wants. What else should someone do for a relationship than meeting some of the needs and wants of the partner?! What is the reason to be in a relationship with a specific person other than being able to meet some of their needs and wants? I had an agreement with my ex, that he would do certain things in the relationship. He wanted three children, I gave birth to three children, he promised he would do some chores and spend some time with the children, than he doesn't do it at all. I asked him why he doesn't participate, he told me he didn't know it would be so much work. I was completely not only left alone, but he finally attempted to destroy me so he could look as the better parent to the children.

I just came across this video and these resources do interest me now, and I am planing to get some of them. I hope that you have found solutions. My thoughts are that anyone whose mind is constantly working on past relationships are free to leave the person/s, for however long or far they need to go to become strong and independent. Two examples came to mind from scripture. For a grown woman, Psalm 45:10 and for a grown man, Genesis 2:24. Something I heard about this life is to look at it as a classroom, not a courtroom. I can think of some parents as more like ill, mean, poor, or uneducated teachers, who have acted more like judges rather than patient teachers which is their responsibility and privilege. They are all teachers nonetheless. However, as an adult I don't have to stay in that classroom or courtroom (internally or externally). I can go to other "classrooms" to learn what I need. Most parents are doing their best, even if it is really bad. "Father forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34) Jesus Christ kept himself free internally by praying and forgiving while he was being nailed unjustly to a cross. He committed everything toxic and unjust to God. He is our only perfect example. Jesus has the only perfect Father, and He has a perfect plan for our redemption, through Christ His only begotten Son, centered on His cross and payment for our sins and shortcomings by His perfect blood. God sees it all. If we believe, we follow His example by picking up our own cross daily. One of the toughest situations (crosses) is when a child needing tender love and good guidance is getting the opposite, especially if it is purposeful harm. Sometimes the parent means to teach humility, but it is hard to receive because of the illness, impatience, and imperfections of the parent, and the hypocrisy. Parents who do not care how their children turn out or who are purposefully turning out evil people are around too. To be lead astray and become evil and unforgiving intentionally through bad parenting has damnable consequences for parents (Matthew 18:6) and for children (Matthew 6:15). Forgiveness is something we ask from God the Father because only He can forgive and pardon. Understand that forgiveness does not mean accepting or enabling evil. Forgiveness does not mean pardon. Forgiveness through goodwill to self and others brings freedom not new burdens. Forgiveness means coming to terms with the harm done and then moving forward in a better way, no longer acting the part of victim. Unforgiveness leads to damnation because it does so much more harm to the unforgiving person, making him/her worse, etc. We need perseverance in prayer for people. Even from hypocrites, it is possible to look back and be thankful for any good they taught, but leave the bad examples out so that it doesn't become part of us (Matthew 23:3). "In your patience possess ye your souls."(Luke 21:19)
