If anyone thought the crowd's reaction was good on TV, then you missed a lot more in the stands. I sat on the entry to Turn 1 and saw the entire thing. The crowd immediately erupted before the crash even happened. We knew it was gonna happen. The whole "I had a flat tire" story is all wrong. Once he hooked onto Logano's rear bumper, he kept going. It was the best takeout/revenge I've seen in a long time.

The crowd says it all. Matt taking out Joey was awesome. Plus, it put Jeff Gordon in first place. The ending of this race couldn't have been better. Kudos to Matt Kenseth.

I've watched nascar for ten years. This is part of racing. anyone who says Matt was out of line needs a nascar history lesson..

I wasn't a fan of Kenseth before this race, but I certainly was afterwards. I was sitting up in between start/finish and turn 1, and every single fan in the stands knew he was going to wreck him. We all watched him drive VERY slowly to make sure Joey caught up to him quickly, and when his opportunity presented itself, he took it with a vengeance. Best race I've ever been to, and probably the best I'll ever have gone to. Jeff winning was just icing on the cake.

I'm so glad Kenseth did this, most guys say they'll do something but never end up doing it. He actually said he was gunna do it and he did.

This was an appropriate response by Matt Kenseth. His chase hopes came to an end at Kansas because of Logano, and now Logano's hopes are essentially done because of Kenseth, so now Logano knows how it feels. I was at home on the TV and the crowd was cheering and very happy, and so was I!

Ok I'm a Penske/Keselowski fan and I gotta say this: I have no problem with what Matt did to Joey. Joey had his coming. He messed with the bull at Kansas and the bull let it slide. He messed with the bull again at Talladega and Kenseth only let it slide because of the Harvick incident. Ealier in the race he bumped Logano and passed him clean. Perfectly fine with that. In my opnion, Kenseth never intended to take Joey out UNTIL the contact Keselowski because of Joey, I think he would have done a regular martinsville spin. Like I said, I am a fan of Penske and Keselowski (not Joey though, never liked him), but Kenseth had enough of being bullied by Penske cars. I do think that what happened between Kes, Kurt, and Matt was pure racing, but I'm not gonna say that Kes has nothing to worry about because he should and if NASCAR doesn't suspend Matt, Matt is well within his rights to race Keselowski tough, rough, and hard for the rest of the year. Keselowski now is in defense mode because even the slightest bit of contact with Matt will justify Matt going after him. Should he wreck Keselowski. No not unless Keselowski makes the first move. Should he race Kes hard for the rest of the year and make it tough for him? You're damn right. And that's coming from a BIG Keselowski fan

I’ve been a Matt Kenneth fan since birth (tells you how long he’s been racing) and ever since Joey joined, I always thought he was just a young punk. He’s been a emotional wrecking ball and when Matt did this, I almost cried tears of joy.

Matt is level headed but don't piss him off. Also I love how he took no chances. He didn't bump him or lightly turn him he turned his car and ran him and Legano all the way to the wall. Like that is how u take someone out, good Lord.

This is why you don't wreck someone you have to race with week in an week out. Maybe Logano will learn something. (no different than a co worker) Also there is no difference whether or not Kenseth was a lap down an wrecked him on purpose. Kenseth lost his chance to make the chase because Logano spun him the previous week. In both instances they dropped points and I don't want to hear this shit about it being a "wreckless" payback, Kansas is a much faster track an who knows where Kenseth's car could have ended up at that speed. Imagine him over correcting an we see another McDowell wreck.

Been a fan of Kenseth ever since I saw him win the 2007 Auto Club 500, and I remember when Logano began racing in 2008. I never really cared for Logano, but after Kansas, I wanted this to happen, and I knew that Joey had it coming, but I'm pissed that Matt was suspended from the Texas race, one of my favorite races of the year. I actually want Gordon to win the championship at this point, I'm glad he won the race and not Logano.

95% of race fans love it that Kenseth delt with Lagano. He needed to be taught a lesson.

My wife and I were watching the race and had to take a double take. I figured Kenseth was going to do something, but didn't know it was going to be this and this soon. Logano was sooner or later going to get some sort of payback from somebody out on the track. Last couple seasons or so he's been tapping a bunch of people out there and definitely several of the veterans. I'm wondering how aggressive and desperate Logano gets now that he basically has to win to be in at Homestead. He can still make it though. The 22 team has been strong all year so its possible he still makes it. Will make the next two races interesting for sure.

Good. Keselowski, Logano and Team Penske are all dirty. Payback was very overdue. Great drive into the wall, and continued push after he hit the wall to ensure the car was toast. This is old-time NASCAR enforcement, the way NASCAR used to run.

When I’m down and need a lift, I watch this! Wonderful.
