Kenshiro Teraji - Is a Japanese professional boxer. He is a two-time and unified light flyweight champion, having held the World Boxing Council (WBC) light flyweight title from 2017 to 2021, and the unified World Boxing Association (WBA) (Super version), WBC, and The Ring light flyweight titles since 2022. His current professional record stands at 23-1 with 14 KO's and he's widely considered to be the #1 Light Flyweight in the world.

One of the best Japanese fighters in the game today! Kenshiro Teraji became the WBC Light Flyweight champ all the way back in 2017 and he's now a unified champion holding both the WBC and WBA titles. His fights are always exciting and he has the ultimate goal of becoming undisputed at 108 lbs. Whichever way you scored the Teraji-Canizales fight it was still an awesome one between 2 excellent fighters. Americans sleep on the lighter divisions, they always have. The false perception is that because they are smaller/lighter there is less action and knockouts, when in reality it is more action and the knockouts come even quicker because they are razor sharp/fast. Blink and you miss it. I love the pace .

Finally someone says it! For me the higher divisions sometimes come off as overhyped (specifically heavyweight) and everyone sleeps on the smaller weights even though they’re consistently fun and action packed

Olascuaga did well for being only 5-0, actually had his moments in the fight and was competitive.

He's a very talented fighter. Unfortunately, he was gifted a win in Japan over Carlos Canizales a few weeks ago....in my opinion. Hanza, would you do a video for Canizales? Very highlight reel friendly boxer.

I definitely wouldn't rule it out but it's not in the near future plans right now. If they do make the Teraji-Canizales rematch I'll definitely make a reel for him too.

Not currently no. I'd like to see him fight either the rematch with Canizales or a unification with Jonathan Gonzalez - that fight was supposed to happen last year anyway

As much as I love Japanese boxers, Kenshiro is probably the most overrated. His defense isn’t the best and gets hit with jabs way too easily. He’s already been stopped once for his recklessness. There’s another Japanese prospect named Yuga Ozaki (5-0, 4 KOs) at 108 and I see him easily beating Teraji.
