LOVE Wells Lamont leather gloves. I have used the same model (and a good few pairs) over the years. I cleaned mine with leather cleaner and kept them soft with leather conditioner. Mine were subjected to hours of heavy use at a time, in landscaping projects and in brushing out woodland, so I needed two pairs a year.

Used these for 40+ years, replacing as needed. Outstanding utility and value.

I have these . They are tanks , CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM . On my 10th pair !

Love my WL gloves I picked up a 3 pack for $30 USD and now have a pair in all my bags!

I use the rigger gloves that I "borrow" from work, so these can't really beat them for price, but I've been looking for some that offer better dexterity, these look like they fit the bill. Good review too, straight to the point, no faffing around.

Great video and a fine start to the new channel. Congrats. Only observation would be to add some size and fit details, having bought supposedly 'Large' sizes in the past only to find they are pretty much meant for an Action Man figurine when they arrive LOL. Keep up the superb work.

They're quite useful at home as well - far better than the usual oven mittens and far more durable.

I got a new pair of those, used them for cutting and splitting firewood. Wore through the finger in no time. They are not tough enough for real work, very soft, unless you want to get a new pair often.

I bought a pair about 1 month ago because of you.

My gardening company uses these. Not the strongest/longest lasting but very comfortable soft leather.

Have been using Wells Lamont gloves as long as I can remember. If you can find them, I think the deerskin are the best. I rub them with mink oil every 6 months or so, and they last for years.

Yup. I buy 'em by the 3-pack ($15-20 USD) and keep a pair in every kit and vehicle. Hit them with a little neatsfoot oil or Vaseline every once in a while to keep them supple. Take care, Andy.

Do the gloves not shrink when handling coals / burning wood ? Can you not feel any heat / get burnt as they are leather ??

I love these gloves for the price, just hate how the yellow dye seeps into my hand.

Over the years I tried fancier gloves and they don't last as long ass Wells Lamont. Certainly cheaper gloves don't last long. Quality may have varied on different models over the years.since I first started wearing them 35 years ago. First I heard of a bush crafter wearing work gloves. Some "young bucks" seem to think gloves are not required when working. Use to work in fruit production -research, construction, and a little forestry., found gloves were essential on many jobs.

The reviews on Amazon are a bit mixed. Some about short fingers, stitching coming apart, thin leather wearing through after 4 used stacking wood, brambles going through too easily. Still, they've worked for you so as long as you're happy with them but I wouldn't buy them after reading what I did. Good video all the same. Now get the rest up! 😉

I’ve been through ten pairs of these gloves o er the last three years. The first sets were great; really thick leather that took a day to break in. Since then the quality seems to have gone slowly downhill. The leather used on the later sets appears second grade, like suede. It!s quite pointless to have reinforced Palme when the soft leather on the fingers develop holes. As they are made in China now I assume they are trading on their name. I have given up on them and have ordered a pair of the new Wells Lamont gloves with water resistant leather palms and man made rears..
