Vekoma's action was much more pronounced, but Arabian Knight is definitely a paddler.

Not nearly Vekoma bad. It is very slight. Watch his work video from OBS, it is barely noticeable. He has a huge stride tho which can give the perception the paddle is worse than it is at certain angles. Bob would never spend 2.3 million on a severe paddler.

Any thoughts on Red Route One? I noticed he came from dead last to second - on the curve of the backstretch we swept by all but 2 of the front contenders to finish 2nd. And on a sloppy track. That impressed me!

yes but the horses are not if they go to another trainer before Feb. 18

Not decided on yet tho a judge will decide to that effect this or next week likely. If not, he has to transfer Derby horses to a new trainer by the 28th, a rule Kentucky made up out of the blue as Bob is so stacked this year and they hate him.

Those horses may not be headed for the Derby. Speedboat Beach has been running on turf

Speed Boat only ran on turf as Baffert had Cave Rock, Hard To Figure and Havnameltdown for Pegram. He said he will never run him on turf again, is heading to Saudi Derby, and only ran him on turf as he felt his brilliance would get him by. May be more a miler sprinter than derby horse tho. Cave Rock is galloping and scheduled to work soon. He may miss his scheduled Rebel prep but will be back soon. Bob also has to make his other clients happy and Cave Rock beating all the other clients horses does not do much good. If not the San Felipe return than he will be back for a 100pt prep.

No, but you can't just ignore him. Besides, I'm right here at SA and his horses are right in my face. Consider this: The first 2 videos I posted on this year's Triple Crown were about Forte. These videos got less than 3,000 views each. The video about Reincarnate was posted after the others and it is approaching 60,000 views. I spoke to Bob briefly about Reincarnate. I said I was stunned by his size and build when I saw him in the paddock. Baffert just grinned.

Watching Fort Bragg and Flavien Prat, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iMyTltSqzM-wgmw.html Fort Bragg had a bad trip in his last race, a grade 3. In his first 4 races always been in the money. Watching to see how this partnership develops. Also, on his maternal side, Indian Rush the grand dam by Indian Charlie. Flavien was jockey on Flightline, wishing this team much success.
