but he will end up getting a smaller second contract then a guard from kentucky because he wasnt prepared for the NBA as well, and not necessarily from a basketball perspective, but from a business perspective.

Such a biased opinion. Marcus Lee recently transferred from UK to Cal but volunteered and came back to help out with camps in the summer. As early as this past week, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has contacted New Jersey recruit Nick Richards to try to come to UK. He also travelled to the Bahamas in 2014 at a moment's notice to watch his former college team play. Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis also helped out with camps this summer. Patrick Patterson promotes UK every chance he gets on social media and online public journal entries like The Player's Tribune. How about alumni games? It's not often you see several professional SUPERSTARS come down annually to one university to engage with fans. Do you also happen to think their Twitter accounts are some sort of bots that randomly tweet "#BBN"? This is only just off the top of my head. Just because Calipari happens to get his players faster to the league than any other coach doesn't mean that he doesn't value his relationships with the athletes during their time at the university.
