+MAD Science Hacks IMPOSSIBLE for general devices because SAMSUNG uses its own 11-pins protocol on Micro USB but general protocol defines 5-pins only.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THESE FORMER REPLIES. The feature of "MHL and OTG mouse working on the same time" of this stuff is ONLY working on CERTAIN SAMSUNG DEVICES because the definition of MHL pins on Samsung isn't a general protocol.(They have 11 pins instead,and general ones have 5 pins to transfer datas/charge only) Thus, it's IMPOSSIBLE to make HDMI output and OTG mouse working simultaneously WITHOUT Samsung devices;You can find some technological information to understand the function of each pins. Samsung has its own protocol to make it work on the same time. FOR OTHER DEVICES ,which have normal 5 pins only, find wireless mouse (by Bluetooth) to operate devices instead. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS.

Hello, I have a note 4 and I have bought this cable since note 4 has 11 pins. I don't understand because the usb connection doesn't work (even when I disconnect HDMI and only connect the usb mouse). Am I doing anything wrong ? Or has my cable a factory default ? Or is there something else ? I mean, I have a black screen and no way to send commands to the phone, the only thing I have now is HDMI with this cable which works so I know my phone is not completely dead but I cannot use the mouse even to unlock it... I tried several mouses and a graphic tablet. I don't know what to do... Help ? :)

You can connect a USB mouse and HDMI simultaneously to your device. Connect in the following order. 1. Power the connection kit 2. connect the kit to your phone 3. connect the mouse 4. connect the hdmi cable. My phone screen was completely damaged. That was the only way I could enable usb debugging. Now I can view the screen from my computer via usb and use the mouse and keyboard. This was done on Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE version I9305 Best of luck.

+Nanas O I'm also facing the same problem with my note 3 and that's the same thing i wana confirm before buying this product that will it connect hdmi and my mouse at same time bcz this is the only way to get in to the mobile to enable usb debugging...

I didn't buy this particular model but I am sure they work the same way. I bought one for a dirt cheap price on ebay and it works perfectly. Just remember to connect the mouse first before connecting HDMI. When I connected HDMI first the mouse did not respond. Also power the unit. It won't work if you don't connect it to power.

El adaptador de 11 a 5 pines, no lo hará funcionar con un celular que no sea de 11 pines, el de 5 pines no tiene la capacidad de incorporar ambas tecnologías, otg y mhl, pienso que ese adaptador es para que que funcione únicamente mhl o únicamente otg, tal vez puede que funcione con ambas tecnologías, pero sola una a la vez, ese es el limitante de los 5 pines. es una teoría porque no estoy seguro, ojalá alguien me conteste.
