It is always better to book a taxi than self drive. Mountanious road and forest areas where you may find wild animals makes self drive a bit troublesome. Taxi drivers will know where to stop for good food, best photo points and you can enjoy more than having a responsibility of driving in a place not known to you during a vacation.

They made a package based on our fixed kilometre distance + night charges + parking + toll etc.. For our itinerary they charged Rs 22850 for 950km for 5D and Rs 21 per KM for extra Kms. Toll, Parking and Driver charges included.

It totally depends on the package pricing.. you can take the package from known travel agencies and simultaneously checkout the similar hotel and flight charges and then compare.
