Ingredients
Chicken -1/2kg
Turmeric Powder -1/4tsp
Pepper Powder -1tsp
Salt -
Onion -1
Curry leaves -
Cloves -2
Cinnamon -1 small
Cardamom -2
Bay leaf -1
Oil-2tbsp
Green chilli -3-4
Ginger -11/2tsp
Garlic-1tsp
Turmeric powder -2pinch
Pepper powder -1tsp
Coriander Powder -2tsp
Garam Masala -1/2tsp +1/4tsp
Tomato- 11/2
Hot water -
Thick coconut Milk -1cup
Oil -1tbsp
Small onion -5
Curry leaves
Method
Marinate chicken and keep aside .
Heat oil and saute whole spices .Then add ginger and garlic ,saute for few seconds .
Now add onion ,curry leaves and salt and saute till translucent .
Now reduce the flame and add all the spices and saute till raw smell goes .. Add tomato and cook for few seconds .
Finally add chicken and mix well ,open and cook for 5. minutes .
Then close and cook in medium flame ,open and stir occasionally ..
Add water if necessary .
When cooked well add thick coconut milk and mix well..
Just heat no need to boil ..Switch off the flame ..Then check the salt ,adjust the spices .
Finally season with small onion ..
So the tasty easy chicken Mappas is ready to serve
