+mewimi I actually disagree. She's still nasty as fuck but she has more depth rather than evil for the fuck of it. Even more importantly she was a good person and her going from "using the zerg even on my former tormenters" to "I'll hurt even the protoss who never wronged me" made no god damned sense.

I always just assumed that the infestation process simply removed her conscience. Hence why she'd be fine with hurting anyone just to reach her goals. Her aim was never to hurt the Protoss, but to use them against the renegade Zerg.

I mean they're both betrayed. Jaina and Uther decided to just leave Arthas when he wanted to cleanse Stratholme, and he was right. I think if he wasn't left alone, he wouldn't be killed

Wait so the original love story between Kerrigan and Jimmy is just 4 minutes out of those 2 10 minutes parts? The dialouge between them didn't even signal emotional touch, when he first met her with the "you pig" he sounded more annoyed than anything else, and when he insults Mengsk, he says them implying the entire force not just kerrigan. And the second time he sees her human is 4 years later in SC2 I kinda knew they blew their relationship out of proportion, but I didn't know that they blew it THAT much out of proportion lmao.

i agree, the relationship does not develop in the game, you just have to assume they had more time together inbetween missions and they never bothered to go into it.

Different writers, different teams but most importantly, original Starcraft is not linear story like Starcraft 2. Original Starcraft is almost no storytelling just pieces of big story.

it would make a lot more sense if Mengsk killed Kerrigan's family. The soldier's duty can mean death sometimes. SC2 tried to portrait Mengsk as evil as possible adding another reason for Kerrigan's revenge but the story transition was not smooth. The story was saved however when Mengsk lied to Kerrigan about killing Jim which made Kerrigan raged. Without it, Kerrigan might be portrayed of someone who hold grudge for doing the soldier's duty and dying from it. If I was Blizzard I would edit the story of Brood War before people find this out. Kerrigan needs to have greater cause to be evil in the Brood War.

i think her cause to be evil is the fact she was turned into zerg and brainwashed by the overmind until he dies.... then she's basically on zerg mode overdrive after that... basically on auto pilot and not even sure what shes doing and barely remembers anything she did after she became human again. Most humans who are infested are total zombies, she's a special case but still made her go zerg mode. Its a bit weird in this way though, cause when she turns back into queen of blades, in heart of the swarm, she is in total control after that yet you'd think becoming a zerg again she'd go in queen bitch mode all again.

Agreed. I love the effects in the original. Each race felt legitimately different and natural. I also liked the style of dialogue in 1 more too. The writer had good command of the English language.

Es impactante ver esto y luego que starcraft 2 empieze con esta cinemagrafica pero distinto, volviendo al origen, que nostalgia, y sigo odiando al general por no haber ayudado a Kerrigan :'(

She's more cartoonish and fun in the first game compared to the second. I love all her subtle jokes she lays out all the time. The second game is great, but the story is a more serious one and i wonder if the original voice actress would have done better.
