Kerry and Sue take on the next stage of the Camino Primitivo from Colinas de Arriba to Lugo. We left Canada September 23/23 and ended our time in Spain October 13. This is the second of three videos from our journey.

Beautiful! Good to see you had good weather! We went the Primitivo last two weeks in October. It rained a lot but it was still beautiful. Weather really bad when we came to Hospitales and the locals advised us to go the other route

We were there the last week of September to mid October. We lucked out with lots of sunshine and no rain. Even so, some days were quite hot so I can’t imagine being there in the heat of summer. Also, except for one weekend, we didn’t have trouble finding an albergue each night (and we always had something work out, it was just more challenging that weekend). So yes, I’d say September is a great time to go.
