Kershaw shuffle 2 : fake vs real comparison

I interacted with a Chinese counterfeit seller and bought a fake Kershaw shuffle II EDC folding knife, just because I can't find any related comparison information on KZfaq, I also bought a real one imported from US to compare and to show you the difference.

I have noticed that real kershaws on the handle the screws go all the way thru and are capped off on the other end rather than being two separate screws from each side of the same hole position but I couldnt tell here if this was the case because I couldnt ever see the back of the real one clearly.

They make great products in China. When they are not fakes to be honest. Kinda pitty if u ask me! It kinda f..s up the whole buying situation for me! P.S I don't know how u guys there can't get freaking Kershaw Made in China Knives for cheap lol. I live in Eu and I've paid 30 $ for my Shuffle.

Yea, as far as i know, the factory regulations (for foreign production) doesn't allow any materials or products to stay in the country, they have to be recorded and sent back out, so basically u can't buy them in here even if they were manufactured here, but of cause there is always some sneaky employees. The factory can also run extra production to sell locally, but i don't think any factory owner would take the risk of loosing the client.

The fakes vary some are amazing and cheap. Thankfully not all countries are willing/able to sell US products at almost twice the price.

Na moral, as vezes a diferença de preço de um verdadeiro para um falso, e tão pequena que não faz sentido comprar em sites duvidosos ou comprar replicas, muito melhor gastar um pouco mais e comprar um original.

I got a fake the other day off Amazon. Except I paid $16 in the US for a fake. The real ones run about $21 here. The fake kershaw Shuffle 2 has different Size, position and font on the blade, has a shorter thumb stud, more aggressive edge lines on the side of the blade, bigger bottle opener tabs, the etching on the screwdriver is different and crappy looking, the detent on the blade for the detent ball is not milled as deep, and the pocket clip is twice the thickness as the OEM. When the knife is closed, the blade also protrudes out of the top of the handle. It should be flush and rounded off on the top of the handle.

Also to mention that the manual that came in the box also has a completely different design on the front page especially. The real manual is white front page, fake is black.

So i bought the real one on aliexpress for 11€, we can see the k of kershaw when the blade is folded…?

I saw that knife and inmediatly went to search some information about that haha i was incredulous, idnt know if kershaw had oem products. You save me for pay 5 boxs lol hahahaha In case u Wonder, i saw the cheap knife on aliexpress.

I wouldn't trust any carbon fiber from fakes , especially a slip joint ... Too many room for error

. “Pleas send me some knife.”😂 “Observation” you paid 40 dollah for the original and $8.00 (free p+p)? Any comparisons you make should be based on that difference. US products only really make sense if you live in america and have more money than sense. If a local company started selling originals they would still sell for $40. Do yourself a favour find a better Chinese seller next time, it’s not that hard.
