Just a quick showcase of a recent romhack release by KMH that removes the lock on sound the game makes whenever your gunpods lock onto targets using the focused shot. No more BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP if you're sick of that. This is all this patch does, and it makes it a lot easier to appreciate the rest of the sublime audio and music.

I'm pretty awful at Ketsui, as you can see. I find it one of the toughest CAVE games honestly, and I'm not sure either helicopter quite clicks with me yet. Tiger's got a handy wideshot and faster lock on, but Panzer trades spread for speed, which is nice to have too. Not sure which one I prefer yet.

The sound of the chips being collected is kinda grating now without the lock on sound, lol. Entertaining run to watch.👍

I find the sound of the chips to be quite soft compared to the beeps of the lock-ons. They're about half as loud as the beeps are, and I'd have been okay with the chip collection sound being used as the lock-on sound. I do still like playing with the beeps though because it allows you to confirm when you're in range and hitting something more easily.
