The 80qt unit is functionally the same as this 140qt. I have made a change on the whip and upgraded it a high RPM motor that I put a variable speed switch on. It is powered a 12v car type battery which with the speed switch is able to stir the popcorn from 0 rpm's to 90+ rpm's using the dial to increase or decrease the RPM's. Are you still building machines ? If so-NO ONE discuss,es auto stirrer motors !!! Why ??? What type 12 V motor is utilized ???? See my point ? Great video w/o all the clown show, or music. Thank you !!!!

Thanks I hate music on videos like these. As far as the motors go we all use different motors and different suppliers. Partly because the supply has been very hard to get lately... I've been using any high quality motor with a 1/8 HP 110 lbs torque for 80qt poppers and 1/4 hp 150 ftlbs of Tq for big poppers with 80 to 95 rpms and 12 volt only.

If you mean Auto stirs I use 3 different companies. I buy Wholesale in volume to keep the cost down but Dayton motors from Granger are good. The supply of motors has been hard to get this years, all electronics have been.
