ABOUT THIS SERIES:
For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
ABOUT KETU IN SECOND HOUSE in birth chart
Whenever you have the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' in the second house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is learning how to trust yiur vision to build the kind of stability and foundation you desire. The biggest challenge here is for you to believe in the massive goals you dream of realising in this lifetime in the material plane
This is the placement of a 'researcher' & 'risk taker' who is meant to leave behind a legacy in this world.
You know the kind of people whose life purpose and motivations are very closely tied up with restoring the glory to their family lineage, heritage or motherland? The kind of people who are 'The One' in their family and create massive fortunes and accomplishments that put their family/country/community on the map?
That's the power granted by the south node of the moon 'ketu' in this placement.
The South node in the second house however, is often looked at by many astrologers as a bad and difficult placement in terms of its 'negative' impact on the native's finances & stability.

Right now I am under rahu mahadasha till 2033 I have seen worst times in my life. Still got up and ready to take big risk for great future plans and build legecy

As my situation ketu 2H and got aspects from Saturn from 12H then running through Ketu MD at the age of 28 😂 . I wonder how more dramatic this Ketu placement in 2nd house gets when we throw Saturn into the mix. I have Ketu + Saturn in my 2nd house with Ketu in Pratyari and Saturn in Sadhak taara. In my experience, Ketu taught me his lessons by removing the illusion of perceiving any place as home on this transient plane. One can only imagine how hard it must have hit to drive home this lesson. Once you don't feel that attached to your family, you can safely wrap up your attachment with anything else in this world. The hurt does not go away in a day, but once you understand the reasons behind getting that generous dose of pain, peace and acceptance starts dawning. I guess, with Ketu Maharaj, there is no end to how much one can learn. You helped me a great deal in understanding my debts and triggering the healing wrt this placement. Thank You!

Whatever you wrote resonates with me as my Saturn and Ketu are in 2nd house as well. It seems that this combination is bent on teaching how unreliable a person, place or thing can be. I have stopped considering any place as “important”, and tried to stop expecting things from family. But due to human social tendencies, I still fall into the illusion and destiny works quickly to bring me out of it

I like your explanation. There is one question. Let's say if Rahu is in 8th house and Ketu is in the 2nd house but the current Rahu and Ketu are transiting in 2nd and 8th house of the horoscope. Just the opposite houses of what they were placed in the birth chart. Then what will happen?

Sir how did you learn all this? Ive seen a lot of videos but this one is the most accurate. I have this placement and I'm an Aries ascendant. My father is a businessman and he owns a metal hardware. He sell reconditioned used metals. A lot of people are advising me to take over his business, but im totally into scrap metal. Somehow i managed to open my own scrapyard last year without his help and my father still runs his business. In future after he retires shall i run his business also ?
