My mom is from Glasgow and I spent some of my childhood there. I really like this man's accent and choice of words and phrases. It is part of his charm for me. He is clever and observant as well as making my laugh my head off. Here in the States, I think someone would be offended, but I can be funny and offend them easily without no effort.

I used to work at a "Sprouts" grocery store. One day, I got off work, but still had on my hat and shirt, black & green work attire. Both said "SPROUTS," - you couldn't miss it. I needed to stop at Walmart. So, a lady came up to me asking where 'bla bla' was. I said- "Oh sorry, I don't work here." (Why did I apologize?) She was SO MAD at me! She rolled here eyes, scoffed at me- like it was my fault, she stomped her foot, and walked away- so angry! What did I do? Ya' F'n Karen?!🤷‍♀️It was MY fault? 🤦🏼‍♀️ I learned to bring a different hat & shirt if I had to go anywhere after work. People are absolutely A-holes. FYI - if you aren't familiar with a Walmart employee uniform & a Sprouts uniform - they are nothing alike. If u work in retail or restaurants, honey- I feel for you. 💖 I've been in healthcare for 17 yrs- (off & on) took a break & worked in retail. No one was as rude to me as patrons in retail. It's like people have a license to be horrible to you. Asking people to wear a mask in 2020... That was "fun" 😷🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Sorry to say 6 and 1 doesn't work logically. The reasoning is that a single token tells the staff how many items were taken, so if there's a shift change or a staff change somebody could come out and give the 1 token back and walk away with 6 items.

The amount of native English speakers who can’t understand different accents is appalling. I’m from the south east, we speak it about as “proper” as it comes and I can understand anyone from Glasgow, Newcastle, Ireland…..I really don’t get the issue. You don’t know the words you’ve heard for decades just cause there’s a slightly different inflection? Says a lot about you
