I live in Chattanooga and I can't believe I haven't heard this story. And FYI, it's the same river where they held the '96 olympics white water races.

Where I grew up at the base of the Sierras, my uncle lived a block away from the feather white water river. The u.s. kayak team would practice just a mile up from where we would always put in. Man.. it was gnarly . We even had a large 10 person raft and it was still gnarly . I saw folks who had no business being on there get tossed, flipped, and swamped all the time. And it was so swift that if you went in you were still in big trouble even with a life jacket. The rocks alone could beat ya to death. We never even tried to raft it on a heavy flow day. Cause it was all class 3s and above on regular flow days.

Islam does assert that Jesus was a prophet, but not the son of God like in Christianity. Muslims also don't believe that Jesus was crucified, but do believe he was saved by God. Jesus is not a deity like in Christianity, but is a key figure.

If y'all ever get a chance to raft down the river Kevin is talking about (Ocoee River), do it, but have some gonads about you. Hell hole, everything Kevin is taking about, is true. So funny. There have been numerous people to die on the river though.

I looked it up online and it seems to be a Class III. Is it one of those Class III's that are worse than some Class IV's? I can't imagine it's as bad as his reaction.

@@samanthamyers4267 it's pretty dang bad. There have been deaths on the river. There are some parts that could definitely be a class IV I'd say. The '96 Olympics were held on this river. They had HUGE boulders brought in and placed in the river. They were going to remove them after the Olympics, but the river became such a hot spot that they just decided to leave them.

@@svenmacfadyen5860 I know that there are Class IVs on that river, and it's possible to die in even smaller rapids. You don't put your feet down and take proper precautions. Even then, rafting is not without its risks. I have only been on the Lower Gauley so far.

There are some people, bored people I assume, who don't appreciate that he has a lot of help with his material. Writers, basically. He doesn't write a lot his own stuff. So F'n what? Its not like Pacino wrote The Godfather, Jordan didn't invent the triangle offense, Jerry Rice didn't call the plays, Sinatra didn't write "My Way", hell in baseball the pitcher doesn't even call his own pitches. The catcher does. So what, right?

@@mneugent7658 I saw him talk about it. He writes his own jokes but he has people that he has hired who listens to his jokes, takes notes and then helps him refine his jokes…basically polish them up. Seems totally fair to me. He’a still the creator of his own material.
