That was during the 1980's golden era peak of WWF. The promo was legendary too. "When it's all over, Damian is going to be wrapped around Jake's neck, and Cheryl is going to be wrapped around mine." - Rick Rude The reason the WWF/E will never succeed like it used to is because they have no balls any more. They're too afraid to entertain a male audience, and so will never enjoy the ratings they once had. The UFC basically came in and took all their male viewers away.

Just wondering. I'm NOT a wrestling fan and only watched it when I was a kid - literally fifty years ago, but I happened to come across some interesting, candid interviews about the industry and indulged, so I saw this and some others that are very interesting. Is this the same interview where this interviewer and Nash, who I admire by the way - and had a son die of drug issues - which is VERY important to note here, laughed at Gene Okerlund's swollen hand while he waited for a liver or kidney transplant and was dealing with alcohol issues, when discussing the lack of people who attended his funeral from the industry? Really? I remember they both had a good chuckle over that ...... I think it was. Pretty amazing.

"Growing up as a young buck, I remember seeing this dude on TV who was like nothing I'd ever seen before. He had a mustache, a perm, and a ripped-up sweatshirt that showed off his massive muscles. And his name was Rick Rude. Now, I didn't know what to make of this guy at first. I mean, who wears a sweatshirt with their own face on it? But the more I watched him in the ring, the more I realized that he was something special. He had a swagger and a confidence that was unmatched by anyone else in the WWE. And let's be real, the ladies loved him too. He had this charm and charisma that made him a total ladies' man. But even though he was a ladies' man, he was also one of the most badass wrestlers out there. He could take on anyone in the ring and come out on top. Looking back on it now, I realize that seeing Rick Rude on TV at 6 years old was probably the strangest thing in the universe. But it was also the most badass.
