Retirement can last up to 30 years. Some even more. We had a neighbor that made it to 107. My family with dementia and serious joint issues spent $40k every year just on aides to help them after hospital rehab releases. That was with family doing 3 nights a week ourselves while trying to work in the day. In other words, just for a few months after a fall or flu not the whole year. I guess some people just have to risk falls or go to Medicaid funded nursing homes. I'm saying $250k sounds low. You're talking less than $10k a year. Is that for a couple? Those students aren't allowed to stay because there is probably a deal between our leaders and the countries they came from. The deal is the students will come and get an education and pay the University for that. But since this is America, those students will want to stay and they countries they come from want them back. So, there's a back room deal to not allow them to stay.

Off topic but while we are at it, end Title 4D and title 4E to end the family destroying child case profiteers. Also, Repeal any law that required banks to notify the FBI for large transactions( transactions of 600& or more currently). USA citizens should have a right to financial privacy and its not the government's role to monitor our money.
