I am glad I came across Kevin in the last months of his life. I am 38 MBA fluent in French and work in healthcare. Never married and no kids. No stds either. As a 32 year old black woman, I feel that we women need to get back into playing our role and our part. I also feel that society is head strong on holding men accountable and forcing them to be men but we don’t force women to be women or hold women accountable. We teach our daughters to be strong independent women who don’t need a man for ish but sex and that way of thinking is wrong. Why don’t we teach our daughters how to be wives because that is the ultimate goal for most women, most women want to become wives but we’re not taught to be wives. I have 3 degrees, I own land, i farm, I’m a nurturer, holistic healer etc but my greatest accomplishment was becoming a wife and then a mother, not earning a worthless piece of paper that solidifies my status in society as successful. I honestly feel like once we start fulfilling our roles in society as women in large numbers vs 1 here and there, then men will naturally follow suit. Women have capabilities that most aren’t even aware of. Women could have a men wrapped around our fingers (if we wanted to) by simply fulfilling our feminine role, allowing our men to lead and doing away with all the “Im independent, I don’t need a n*gga for ish, f**k a n*gga bs.” It’s too many of us lost and the man is losing hope. We have to get back to respecting our men, fulfilling their wishes and desires as men, TEACHING OUR DAUGHTERS how to honor, respect, nurture etc. men and I know for a fact everything will fall in place. If we want change we have to start with ourselves and that’s with anything in life. We want to be treated like women while acting like men, thots, thugs, bad b*tches etc. Most real alpha males don’t care about your degrees, corporate position or tax bracket….. if you have these things that’s cool but don’t let your social status overshadow your status as a WIFE, Wife to be, mother, nurturer, healer, and glue to your family!
