The biggest thing for me when it comes to self defense is focus on training responses under pressure.
Regardless which type of system your train, Wing Chun/JKD, Jiu Jitsu, MMA. Muay Thai, Boxing and etc.., all great! But it's very important that we take our training with pressure, scenarios, environments, and body types into consideration. I listed out a few training options and defenses against a Haymaker or a wide hook base on the system I practice.
Don't forget to check out the training drill that I am sharing with you guys towards the end of the video! It's important that we also train our eyes too! (So we don't blink when someone throws a punch at you)
