Kev I just bought a “dirt cheap” brushless system and it was actually “dirt cheap” I’m going to test to see how long it lasts before it blows up😂

You have to use two stroke mix on this engine! It relies on the fuel to keep the cylinder and liner lubricated!

Hi Kev,great to see another person as passionate about engines as myself. Mine are mostly Nitro,from 2.5 cc through to 30 cc. My first rebuild (complete engine/gearbox) was when I was 16 years old,34 years ago,and was my Kawasaki Mach III 500 cc two stroke triple. These days I fly RC planes,and one Nitro AWD Wildfire car for the flat going. Love your enthusiasm. And vids.

Your slow-mo video is what speed these actually ran at. My grandpa, father, and I restored hundreds of hit and miss engines (and antique tractors). The funny thing is, you can buy several of the real thing for what this mini costs.

Sweet little engines. I saw a metal engine model that doesn't actually run the other day and thought about you. It has an electric motor to turn it so I automatically pictured swapping it with a 4S brushless.

Kev for that one with the leccy motor, might be worth installing a micro switch into the esc loop- toward the battery - so you can leave the battery connected for the glo plug and have the starter no engaged when it’s running 👍

Kevin. A little thought for project 200+. I don't know if it's worth having the front and rear spoilers made to be adjustable from the transmitter. If it is possible then you could do some fine tuning while driving. The payoff is added weight (not really an issue for top speed) and robustness. But if you need a bit more front grip it could be very easy.

Just got in my banggood 1/18 brushless system in for my Latrax Teton so much power just on 2s blew the tires right off lmao 23.00 well spent. Gonna start getting my servos from them as well especially for 1/5 stuff.

You can supercharge it by adding nitro or other gasses into the carborator. (Pressurised air gasses)

That's the same engine Warped Perception blew up with acetylene isn't it? Make sure you adjust your rockers regularly.. until you blow it up that is. That little black engine.. turn the fan blades around, the pitch is wrong for the rotation of the engine, it's blowing not sucking. First thing I'd do with that thing is remove the muffler, then find a little supercharger to out on it and duct it in under the carb and have it turned by the flywheel and then run nitro in it.

For Project 200, find someone that does paintjobs and see if they could do a Volkswagen IDR paint on it. It would go good with where the eing is positioned and would overall just look cool

I bought one of the dumbo radio systems and it’s working great so far. You should get the Traxxas Hoss 4x4 vxl and put it up against something like the Keaton 4s
