I have only just discovered 'Kaleo' and it is the best thing that has happened to me in years. What a sensational voice, amazing and such a sweet whistle. I am 78 and life's pleasures are few and far between. If nothing else happens this year, I have 'Kaleo' What a unique sound, he tugs at my heart strings. Thank you Kaleo you have made my year. It's getting weird that whenever you think you discovered a new band or a musician, they have performed on KEXP a year ago or so... and with a beautiful live show in a very well equipped studio. Thanks KEXP!

Every performance they have sounds like studio quality work. The way they perform, the use of their instruments, and the heart they put into each of their sounds makes this a band that only comes around once a lifetime. Their music touches my very soul.

That falsetto... so beautiful. "I Can't Go On Without You" is so so good. I can't get enough. And I have to say Kaleo is one of my best music discoveries as of late.

They put their blood in their music. They put life to it and makes it sound that the music was played by angels.

These guys have somehow recaptured the spirit of Rock'n'Roll/Blues. This is what it's supposed to sound like and they're live. A live performance that sounds like a EP. These guys are true musicians. Their music soothes my soul and allows me to rock out all in one. Truly amazing. I cannot express enough what these guys music is doing for me in my life. They're a bloody God sent.

I found my new obsession and i don't get hooked on bands easily almost never...he seriously has the most amazing voice and the band plays effortlessly

From one band to another...THEY ARE AMAZING. Really good people as well. We were able to catch their North American Debut show and they sound exactly like the record. It's getting harder and harder to find bands that can live up to that standard. Big things await them in the States.

Those drum stick clicks are money. Also, the consistency and harmony of this band are unreal.

quite possibly, more than likely, 100 % definitely the best band Ive heard for a very long time. I bought A/B 10 days ago , I listen to it in the car every day, I cant get enough of it. Evry track is gold. My favourite track I can even understand because its sung in Icelandic but the feel is there in his voice and the bands music. Superb band

I'm '78' and heard Kaleo for the 'first time' on Jimmy Kimmel last night; they are one of the 'Best Bands/Groups' I've heard in many years👍😊 Have since sent YT links to one of my daughters, who loves Dave Matthews; think she'll also love Kaleo. Also, sent same links to my two Granddaughters, who are in their early and late 20s; anxious to hear if they also enjoy this 'Fantastic Group'. BTW--took time to get 'Translation for Vor í Vaglaskógi'; since both my Granddaughters love the 'Outdoors/Camping/Nature', especially when doing so with their 'Sweethearts', I know they'll love the 'Beautiful Lyrics' to this song😊😊

What an excellent video, I can find no fault. "I Can't Go On Without You" is so haunting, so beautiful. There must have been some real heart-break to inspire this song. I hope it is long in the rearview mirror as they move on to their next endeavors. I think that John Richards did an excellent interview, drawing out of them with more than just "yes" or "no" questions like I had seen others ask. And it was nice to hear David talk some more, we rarely hear him talk, and even rarer is Daniel, perhaps he's shy :)

I've always wondered how they came up with their band name because in Hawaiian "Kaleo" is a common male name which means "the voice". That would make sense why their name is so fitting.
