I find it interesting that he doesn't consider himself a Country or a Folk singer. I've always had a hard time describing his music to others. Now most of those exposed to his talents and personality are fans. I consider him timely and timeless.

It is sooooo a "Southern thang" to paint your porch ceilings sky blue. It is to repel bugs, but it's also a long-held superstition that it keeps the hants away.
