Not true at all, especially so for comedians in most cases they set it up so that they can go into a skit. Louis CK does this constantly in interviews.

josh sloan Most interviews aren't exactly "scripted" they just ask them before hand what they would be interested in talking about, or if they have an entertaining story they would like to tell etc. So not really scripted, but not exactly on the spot either.

These guys are comedic geniuses, and honestly, they probably could to that, but this show's not live, and they have rehearsals. They didn't just do this completely on the fly.

Pretty much they talked about this when they're hanging out. But since this is their personal experience, they can't use it as a sketch in the show. Conan's is really the best place to do this and Peele saw what Key was doing and just jumped into it.

What I love is that usually in a comedy duo, one is funnier and slightly carrying the other. They are equally fucking brilliant and humble.

Erin Steele Comedy is built on the history of duos and that's rarely true. One may appeal to you more comedically, but I assure you, in order to work together, the comedian has to put aside himself and acknowledge that the other person is equally funny, if not more. Comedy is perhaps the world's clearest meritocracy in that way-you either get the laugh or you don't, and you're either working to get the laugh or you're not. Everything else is a waste of time

Absolutely love these guys! Very proud that one of them is from my area. Forget which one but hes from Royal Oak MI, like 30 min from me. Used to go to college there. That's why the Macedonian Cafe sketch made so much sense, as we have so many Macedonians and Albanians in the area. I knew many myself and they're awesome people. Great food too These two deserve all the fame and love that they get
