Not really because at the end of the day the person who stole the joke knows who originally made it. Them knowing the truth is satisfying enough for me so there is no reason to get butthurt about it. The people in this comment section are way too sensitive.

I had a similar situation when I was in school, I was drawing these little monster animals called flaminals and my friend sort of caught on what I was doing and showed my teacher the animal drawings that I was doing and we ended up having a flanimals wall in class... Everyone loved him so much in class for 'coming up with the idea' the principle in assembly a few weeks later gave him a certificate for being creative and starting a new trend in the school.... Never got over it... 😂

I have no idea why, but I remember getting it mixed in my head trying to remember this sketch, and instead of Gabriel Iglesias, I thought it was Carlos Mencia. Don't know why I remembered it that way, but the irony of him telling others that it's not cool to take other peoples jokes wasn't lost on me

Oh, I understand now. You don't realize that Peele is playing two different characters in this skit. You see, sometimes, an actor plays a character so perfectly (like Peele's Obama) that they have to continue playing them throughout the series. So, while it may confuse some people - like you, for instance - it is something that occurs quite often in the sketch comedy world.

The hypotenuse is a math term to describe the longest side of a right triangle. And so the word hypotenuse sounds like high on pot. It’s pretty much a stupid play on words blown out of proportions.

To clarify- I did not show them this video, unfortunately parents and administration might frown upon that, but I would if I could. When I asked them if they knew what a hypotenuse was they told me to watch this video. They watched me laugh at it.

dooshtoomun He went on become president while Troy stayed in the past, dwelling on his short-lived fame, which crashed and burned after he was unable to come up with anything remotely funny. In a gesture of pity, and to prove that he had made peace with the betrayal of many years ago, President Jackson plays along with Troy's denial, the latter of whom truly believing himself to be funny, and awards him with a medal that holds no actual value. Troy still wears his high school uniform because that's all he has left, and the only remaining treasure he has is a cheaply made T-Shirt that reminds his of his brief success. Upon receiving the superficial award, he is filled with gratitude, and hands his only possession to his old friend. He has nothing left.

That actually reminds me of my colleague back in middle school, When I gave him an answer for a question the teacher had asked, He got all the credit for it though he had no idea of what he said.
