About Key & Peele:
Key & Peele showcases the fearless wit of stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as the duo takes on everything from "Gremlins 2" to systemic racism. With an array of sketches as wide-reaching as they are cringingly accurate, the pair has created a bevy of classic characters, including Wendell, the players of the East/West Bowl and President Obama's Anger Translator.

It's hilarious how even through a comedy skit as silly as this, you can get a glimpse at Jordan Peeles horror genius.
@rileyp6994
@rileyp6994 Жыл бұрын
Jordan is a terrific horror director but these skits don't really prove that. I mean in this one he just copied the ending to The Shining. And he also basically copied the most famous line from When Harry Met Sally. Jordan is popular and overall very talented, but a lot of his jokes are just references to previous works/movies that are so old most people in his target audience don't know about

Starting at 1:50, the breakfast scene gets an incredible sequence of classical music hits. Whoever put it together is a genius: different Strauss tone poems bleed together as if a single piece with an interpolation from act 3 of Die Walküre, which leads right back to Strauss--then interrupted by a chant-like voice and big band jazz.

I lived this. I was forced to leave my home due to severe storm damage and lived in a hotel for two weeks. Every day I ate breakfast, and every day the offerings decreased in variety. After 10 days every day started running together and the staff knew my name. This is skit is funny and horrifying to me.

What makes it funny Is the fact that in 1935 continental breakfast were for the wealthy but now it's more like coffee and donuts. And he's stuck in the past.
