With respect to you, this video can actually leave ppl worse than they were to start. You DO NOT PULL DOWN ! YOU TURN THE WHEEL THE DIRECTION YOUR Tires/WHEELS ARE COCKED. MINE WHERE COCKED LEFT SO I TURNED WHEEL LEFT. YOU DONT PULL!! TURN! and to top it off you don't show it. If your steering wheel is in the straight position- try turning left or right to get the key to engage. You're welcome.

Do you pull the steering wheel down or out when you jiggle the key. You cant tell what is you do to make it click since the camera is so close to the steering wheel.

I still couldn't figure this out. Thank God for remote start. I was able to get my Equinox key to crank it after that.

On my Camaro I put my finger in a hole directly behind, on the other side of the key. Wiggled it around while turning the key and Wah-la!

Yes , just one question. In my 2007 Chevy HHR after I put in a new Battery , starter, alternater because when I turn the key over a yellow security light either flashes and stays lit. It will not allow me to crank up the car nor does my steering wheel lock . Do you have any advice ? I already tried the 10 minute turn key over 3 times scenerio, didn't work . I checked fuses inside car on passenger side....any information will be greatly appreciated....I'm so serious ...I've spent almost the same amount I paid for car trying to fix which is probably staring me in the eyes the whole time ....idk

This helped me so much, I started with changing a bulb . ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l55-aJVky-C4co0.html ) I guess i turned wheel to much and activated the steering wheel lock anti theft. Went out to get a new battery under warranty( Battery read it was good but did have a leak agm after a freeze kinda common, gel battery. So it was free. But it still didnt start. Tried this and all back to normal. Thanks and God bless you.
