I used to play KBM on Console but recently switched to PC. KBM on console is undoubtedly torture.

For the keyboard not working I think you just have to toggle nyko on your keyboard. Had a few keyboards that weren’t working on my PS5 after figuring that out pretty much all of them work, even my custom ones.

I tried to play a console cup thinking I'll just use kbm and crap on everyone, boy was I wrong.

KBM on ps5 with wired kbm is so good

You have to have it plugged in not Bluetooth. You have to change the refresh rate in the settings also. I played kbm on xbox for 2 years and had no problem.

Just a quick thought, wireless gaming mice, or keyboards aren't the best for fortnite and can have some imput delay. next time try using wired accessories for a more stable connection. 😊

Wireless g305 is just fine on ps4. Idk whats up with his setup.

It is less delayed if you play wired connection and a wired mouse.

Console also has impossible to turn off mouse acceleration. This makes your curser go farther the faster you move the mouse instead of having it move based on distance. This makes it almost impossible to have consistent aim.

Bluetooth will obviously give delay 😒

Some tips for the people thinking that the delay on console is making games unplayable - Use a high refresh rate with low response time monitor/ TV. 1ms with at least 120hz should be ideal - change to OPTICAL mechanical keyboard (razer hunstman mini or even a cheaper option - bloody br820) - try finding videos explaining the different playstation settings connected to the optimisation of the console for high performance gaming

There is an option in ps5 to remove delay.Its in the settings.If keyboards don't work on your console then your console is just fake.

If you're using a PS4 I recommend the LTC nimbleback and the glorious model o wired you can plug the mouse into the keyboard just make sure you turn the controller off before you play

This is exactly the video I was looking for…by your logic keyboard and mouse on console is worse than keyboard and mouse on pc for fps games(in general)…but the pc community still wants to dictate and gatekeep what device input console players can use IF the game they’re playing allows for multiple input devices(mnk/controller) such as Fortnite, CoD, and Minecraft (all on console). I’ve seen nothing but people saying “using mouse and keyboard on console is cheating”…and that statement is ONLY true for games that DONT allow cross platform matchmaking (console vs console only and pc vs pc only) for example r6 siege. If I can only play against controller/console players then I can agree that using mnk on console is cheating. However with most fps games that are coming out now being cross platform BY DEFAULT and this video PROVING that mouse and keyboard is WORSE on console, by that logic console players don’t “gain” an advantage by using their mouse and keyboard if it “feels like 30fps gaming/console gaming” with the input delay. I just want mnk support on the finals for console back. Cheaters on pc using reWASD to use mouse and keyboard WITH AIM ASSIST were plaguing the game and embark studios response was to remove the native mouse and keyboard support on console. Keep in mind only pc players can use reWASD and console players were punished in the response to pc players cheating…this is sad. I don’t understand this at all. Mouse and keyboard support on the finals is disabled on console yet I still play against pc players in my lobby…🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

i still play kbm on ps4 but im having a problem thats really frustrating to me. When i swipe my mouse somewhat fast across my mousepad, my ps4 doesnt register the movement at all and i dont move in game, so everytime i swipe from left to right fast out of reflexes, my character is still pointing forward instead of the direction im aiming for.

I used to be high elo in r6 a couple years ago and ppl would use a adaptor to make keyboard or mouse run better on their ps4’s or some shit like that

I used to play on my laptop. But it broke so I play on my PS4 and honestly, it’s just horrible. Your aim just feels so floaty and there’s so much pixel skipping that I have to use low sens because high sens just feels too inaccurate because of the skipping

I used to play keyboard and mouse on console and I played perfectly fine no input lag or delay I just switched to pc a week ago the homily difference is the fps and smoothness of the game gameplay feels the same .

For me the only difference was my presets and dpi on different games. I play insurgency sandstorm and dayz on xbox with m&k and it feels the same as my PC.
