Keychron K8 Latency Test

2 жыл бұрынUsing my phone's slow motion video capabilities and each keyboard's lighting option that shows when a key is pressed, I was able to count the number of frames it takes between actually pressing the keyboard and the first frame of animation.
This test isn't to tell the number of frames the K8 can react to input. It's really more to see the difference in responsiveness compared to a keyboard manufactured and marketed as a gaming keyboard, the Logitech G512.

Thanks for the test! You could also do a latency test with sound, recording mouse click and a gun sound.

That makes sense! The histogram would also make it much easier to pinpoint frame 1 of something starting up.

Did you come to a conclusion on whether wired or wireless was better on average? It seems inconsistent.

Wired is definitely better on average.

Not at all - it's what I use now. The difference is imperceptible.
