At 21:08 That is the blind spot detection. You left your blinker on and it was dinging so you didn't go in the lane and hit the other vehicle.

the ding ding noise is the truck saying ur about to hit something in the front u can turn it off in gameplay or u can turn it up so the truck will auto brake

TruckersMP isn't really a thing anymore it's now ATS Convoy which is apart of the game also that noise was your lane departure warning

Hey polecat, the only advice I could give you as somebody that actually drives a truck almost everyday is that you need to drive into the intersection more before turning instead of turning as soon as you enter the intersection. And there’s plenty of videos on KZfaq to help understand how the trans works!

That sound lets you know your about to hit something.

Coming from a IRL truck driver; look at gearbox like a H pattern, forget about and low gear or bog cog, unless ur pulling super heavy loads like in Australia. Most single loads u can get away with 1st, 2nd, maybe 3rd with a bit throttle manipulation. But back to the pattern it is virtually an 8 speed, forgetabout splitting gears till your get the hang of it. And basically its a 4 low and 4 high. Hope this helps and good to see ya having a crack

Yeah I would have to say you need a longer shifter and also get yourself an ATS button box it would help with keybinds and it would make it more of a realistic feeling and it would keep you from having to reach over to your keyboard to press a certain key for functions on the vehicle. You did very well in the first part of the video and the second part you needed practice and I can't wait to watch you with spoonbill play this game, keep up the series man I really enjoy it, LSPFR was kind of getting dull. And then one last thing turn on traffic infractions because it makes it more of a different experience. And then one last tip your extra gears are split gears with that toggle and then you only need to hold the clutch down only on first and I believe reverse. Other than that it was pretty funny and then enjoyable. I almost forgot you had Lane and collision warning mirrors on that truck in the first part of the video and it was telling you that there was a vehicle next to you with The slot machine sound.

when going round a tight corner, you need to cut into the opposite lane to give the trailer enough room to not hit the curb when turning

Hi polecat, the sound you were hearing was your blind spot sensors telling you a car was on the same side you are signaling towards.

Multiplayer with spoonbill will be so good

So the convoy vehicles will follow your speed but only up to the speed limit. If you go above the limit, they won't match your speed anymore 👍🏼 Also, on special transport/convoy jobs you can't pick the "Where Do You Want It" option, it defaults to the easy option

The beeping on 7:47 meant that you were too close to a car or barrier. Basically it is warning you that you are about to hit something or your way too close.
