Many Thanks for the beneficial mechanism of editing the CV to meet the Job Description. True and honest approach to edit the resume and eliminate unnecessary experience in the submitted CV. I have lost tens of Jobs by just pasting my standard resume to all the jobs that I knew that I am qualified for them but actually got auto rejection on the next day, with a standard regret letter.

I have done something similar and yes it does help. Currently in Brisbane Australia there are currently anywhere between 300 and 600 candidates applying for Office Admin work. Trying to get an interview is like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack.

Hi! It's very interesting to know that in this morning I was doing exactly the same procedure, that's great to feel that I'm on the right track. Thank you! However, instead of copying just the job description, I took at least 15 and copied them into a text file. From that, I was able to get loads of keywords, but I would like to find a way to automate this task a little. I mean in a way to be able to clean up those keywords more efficiently...

Use a word cloud generator; paste the job description into the word cloud generator and you will see both the image and list of key words.

Hello Mr. O'Neal. Is it best to use TagCrowd keyword software that will show keywords to put in a resume? Or, is it best to do it the way you are showing in the video? How can you find the best phrase words in the job description to put in a resume the way you are doing in the video?
@VeeKayGreenerGrass2 жыл бұрын
It's definitely quicker.

Thanks for sharing. Doesn't putting that title all over the place make the person reading it wonder what's going on? if they find the keyword list hidden at the bottom I've heard they will blacklist candidates for 'gaming' the system. Or in your experience is this just about getting past the ATS so that someone actually reads your resume?

"if they find the keyword list hidden at the bottom I've heard they will blacklist candidates for 'gaming' the system" is my concern with this presentation as well. I think they call it keyword cramming these days and most ATS today can detect this and toss your application from further consideration is what I've heard.

Hey guys, I think he didn't finish explaining the whole process because otherwise it would have been a longer video recording but you keep the words at the bottom while you continue tweaking your resume. The after, once you have tailed it to the point where you get a 100% match, you can try matching your resume with the job description minus the key words at the bottom.

It's a shame that you can't use your own choice of words, but if you mirror theirs it does actually help.

Looking at a lot of the reviews below, I think it is the same person. The non native language use and style is a bit odd.
