EMINEM wrote the entire song. He brought it into the studio one day and Dre 😮ended putting the music around the lyrics. He said it was the only time he ever did that with the music, doing the music to fit the lyrics. Eminem wrote as if he was actually Dr dre. It's so good

Reason he said ya'll thought i fell off was because after the chronic there was the album called "Aftermath" look up "Been there done that" the video had him ballin, expensive cars, helicopter rides to L.A. skyscrapers to expensive dinner. Had a sequence w a bunch of people ballroom dancin. Unfotunately even plenty of other aftusts were flossin how rich they were, Dre caught a lot of flack. Chronic 2001 is the album after and he went back gangster rap. It also has Still Dre w snoop.great album.

He was The music Mastermind. I had problems with NWA and easy.... Then left started death row with Suge Knight.... That's when he signed Snoop created many classics. Dre asked Em to write a song for Dre and Snoop for Dres album 2001, Em played the reference track for Dre doing a flow for Dre and Snoops flow and Dre like the sound of Em on it and asked Em to do it instead, a lot of people thought thats where the animosity started with Snoop and it could be an ingredient but the main thing that started that beef was Snoop wanting Em on a song but because he was "Gangsta" and facing a murder trial and Em was going to court as well plus everyone was trying to cancel Em, Paul Rosenberg didn't think it was a good idea and never told Em, Snoop mad at Em for 20yrs and Em didn't know 😂, Had Snoop did what Lil Wayne did and request a feature in an interview Em wouldve seen it 😂. Lol times changed, slang, etc. When this song came out, NO ONE would even for a second consider “babies” like infants. You just think of babes who are twins in that line. Now a days tho more ppl will hear both, or the other part. Em also has a line about baby sitting for hailey while she’s out getting smashed on another song, when that came out EVERYONE thought of her getting drunk and never even considered another interpretation.
