These are facts. Even Teddy Atlas said that Khabib's jab is extremely effective and amongst the best he has seen in MMA. Not to mention that he is a southpaw on the ground. Kinda shame that Josh Thompson and Javier Mendez had to hype up the others like Islam, Umar and Usman by comparing them to Khabib and saying that they were much better strikers and much more skilled, which isn't true because they lack his fight IQ. They don't give him his gameplans or corner advices, it's the opposite where Khabib tells them what to do during their fights...

Khabib beat iaquinta with nothing but a jab An combos. Beat him 50-43 on one score card An 50-44 on the rest. An Iaquinta is a striker with many wins in the ufc. Khabib put Conor down with a right hand. He kicked Barboza in the head n walked him down. Khabib can strike. At some point you have to realize he’s the best at grappling but he’s good every where. Especially towards the end of his career. An That’s not a fan story that’s facts you can go watch n see for yourself. Khabib just has tons of haters like you. But still Best light weight to do it. Stay salty.

I'll say, Islam, Umar, and Usman are better strikers than Khabib because they have better kicks, elbows, and knees and they use them beautifully. However, boxing it's arguable but I agree that Khabib has good boxing skills, and an awkward style but is effective, he's like a juggernaut with an iron chin, and awkward head movement but he still manages to evade them, and he can box all day with his gas tank and will look for an opening then destroy everyone to the ground. The only problem with Khabib's boxing is he doesn't have crazy power to put someone to sleep in stand-up, but he can TKO or Submit someone to sleep so we're good

If you rewatch the Dustin fight, when Dustin caught him one time he followed up and tried to chase Khabib down, in full speed you couldn’t tell how many shots landed. But when you watch the slow mo replay khabib slipped every single one of those strikes. He never had a cut on his face and there’s a reason for that.

Power maybe not but footwork I think and also islam really knows how to use knees more than khabib...coz islam was coached by other striking coaches while khabib stayed loyal to jav....but khabib covers his stand up with his good chin and great fight iq...yes islam too has a great fight iq but he too agrees khabib is better

Mendez is just a rabid admirer of khabib and a past kickboxer who gives no advice in the game as a coach.Mendez's words are often wrong and are just personal opinions, and no one thinks khabib is a good boxer.What Mendez says is "nonsense"

@@freeyo lmao Charles and Arman are not powerhouses, they lost to Islam who is not a better wrestler than Khabib. Islam lost to Ali Bagov, who is a world champion in bjj. Khabib beat Bagov and has wins over 7 world champions in combat sambo (which is similar to MMA). And Khabib won every round vs Tibau (who got suspended for using steroids), you’re acting like he lost lol

Just like islam beg those top 5 contenders. Now Umar knocking on doors but no one would answer him back. I dont if you know this, khabib literally fought grapplers at russia, for example, islam makhachev tapped out against ali bagov and later on asked khabib avenge his loss and khabib submitted ali bagov the same way that ali subbed islam 😆 you have no idea what youre talking about, khabib is undefeated for a reason, he is levels above everybody
