May الله have mercy on our brother and guide him. He started with “halal” nasheed and now does weird innovated concerts with women. People need to see beyond the personalities and focus their attention on the prophet ﷺ, and his companions.

💯 what’s this weird adaptation of songs. I don’t want hear him using an ed Sheeran song. All I think about IS that ed Sheeran song in my head. Focus comes away from the what he actually sing ing about. Not that listen to him period. May Allah swt guide him and me. Ameen

I wonder if you lot will give the same energy to Omar Esa and his new song "My Begali Wife". It's a rendition of Chaka Khan's "ain't nobody". I personally like the song Omar Esa has done and his lyrics seems halal and not vulgar or non religious. But I guess you will say everything is an innovation.

What a wonderfully introspective individual. Mash'Allah May Allah make this a catalyst for Khaled to find the true guidance to any impending issues. As someone who has once been an artist, I can completely understand the inner conflict and the hold it has on one, the constant dabbling in the grey matter and so on. The brothers love of music is a trial for him and should be atleast kept between him and Allah, the moment you start spreading haram particularly aiming at a Muslim audience using a haram method in fact being a forerunner in enticing something haram to seem halal... I would say big props for khaled siddique I've never met someone so brave that he would risk doing this aiming at a sole Muslim audience, his personally took it in his stride to step above the Prophet PBUH and mislead his ummah into something the prophet pbuh prohibited, the hadith clearly states that their will be people from the ummah who will attempt to make alcohol music prohibited things halal, he is brave indeed. Sinning privately has a window of mercy open to it, sinning openly, you are asking for punishment in this life and the next.

Khaled is right, there is a lot of racism mixed up in people’s opinions of what “kufar” is, while most of them practice culture and not actual Islam. I also grew up with people telling me I’m not Muslim because I’m black. The truth is converts often understand Islam more than them because they had to search for it and study it deeply in order to live it and raise children in Islam in the West. I’m all for love and unity but the interviewer is borderline insulting and these comments are definitely annoying. Stay strong bro. We appreciate the work you do! 💕

As a revert that grew up in a household and culture that was heavily influenced by music. Many like me know the clear cut danger and harm that music causes an individual and a society and how that harm increases throughout generations. Even if it was not very clear from the text of our religion the understanding of the earlier Muslims and ijamah of the imaams that music is haram, it would be impermissible via Qiyas due to the harmful effects.

Focus on the Quran, for the love of the Quran cannot exist in the same heart that loves music. ‘Never do the love of song and the love of Quran come together in the same heart except that one expels the other’ - ibn Qayyim, Madarij Al salikin (volume 1, page 487) Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There will come at the end of time the collapse of cities, stones raining from the sky, and the transmutation of creatures.” It was said, “When is that, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “When there is a prevalence of musical instruments, singing girls, and the legalization of wine.” Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr lil-Ṭabarānī 5810 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani "There will be some people of my nation who will practice fornication and adultery, wear silk, drink wine and use musical instruments and deem this as lawful." [Al-Bukhari] What is certain is that the salaf (which includes the sahaba) focused on learning, memorising, teaching, pondering on, understanding and living by the Quran. As a revert be careful what opinions you take on, your Islam is precious gift that you should protect. There is consensus amongst the salaf (righteous predecessors - sahaba and the two following generations) and amongst majority scholars today that music is impermissible. Some even take it as far as saying nasheeds are the same difference - for example the scholar Sheikh Saalih Al Fawzaan said “saying ‘I listen to nasheed instead of music’ is like saying ‘I wash urine away with urine’”. So some people take the opinion that nasheeds aren’t allowed (im unsure if this is a majority or minority opinion) Following the salaf properly would mean to abandon music, songs etc and focus on the Quran. Listen to nasheeds too if you take the opinion they’re fine 🤍

@@UU-vl2kn agree with what you’ve stated. However, for you to say that the Bro is “uneducated” is questionable! If one imparts advice, one should do so with wisdom and hikma. He does Mawlid tours, Khaled Why is Mawlid right? You remember the Prophet, recite Durood & Quran. Surah Yunus 58: REJOICE FAVOURS of Your Lord Surah Imran 164: Allah bestowed a GREAT FAVOUR by sending his messenger. REJOICE means to celebrate. Are we most likely to forget the Prophet than the Salaf? YES.. so we default by remembering him. If your argument is you can do all this without Mawlid, then do it without Mawlid, but remember when done collectively, you would have to give it a name, eg "Gathering to Remember Prophet", "Seerah of Prophet", "Khatam-e-Nabuvat", or "Mawlid", with or without decorations can be disputed. This is Mantiq; studying logic with Islamic philosophy, eg this will cover the topic of linguistics in relation to religion. Linguistics is science of language, Mawlid is just a word, actions done on day have to be in accordance to Shariah Legal Law.

There was good advises given in the begnning near the 40 minute mark, but towards the end it got stupid with the justification of music. honestly it was stupid gymnastic, "what is kuffar music" this Khaled guy literally remixes all these music from the non muslim genres. the prophet pbuh said, towards the end of time, people will come and try to make music permissible
