C170 doesn’t make more power than the Hellephant. C170 makes 900 on 93 and 1025 on E85. The Hellephant 426 makes 1000hp on 93, so imagine an E85 tune on that motor.

No modern day Challenger, Charger, or 300 is worth $250K…including the Demon 170.

Smart move! The Demon 170 will not be as collectible as the 2018. It did not come with a crate or anything AND as you pointed out they're selling the engine online. Also you can throw some bolt on and a tune on a hellcat and achieve the same numbers

The Hellephant is a 426 cid, 4.125 bore x 4.000 stroke. the demon 170 is 376 cid. The same supercharger. In theory the larger engine should have more rpm potential. Could be why is $2k more. Who knows.

Am keeping my demon 2018 and hopefully drop the crate engine in it also.

When you spec your Demon 170 I thought you went bananas with the sunroof option which to me is just extra weight for the race car that makes completely no sense and double the nonsense knowing the price but at least at the end you make a great decision refusing to complete the purchase in my opinion good move. There are still 60 not taken allocation for demon 170 so maybe there is a still chance to get one for the lower price

If you want a Hellaphant engine you can have one right now. JL Motorsports has a 1250 hp Hellaphant.

Racer X bought his at MSRP....around $120,000! He didn’t get the Carbon Fiber wheels which are $13,000! For MSRP A DEAL otherwise it is outrageous! Hellephant 426 Supercharged Mopar Crate HEMI and with an MSRP of $29,995 and just 100 units produced, it sold out in less than two full days.

Dude you did the right thing by not giving away future appreciation, because its doing depreciate first then it will take 30 to 40 year before it will even reach the price that those doe doe birds at the dealership were going to sell it at, and even the baby brain people that paid that hefty sum over MSRP for these cars after the 500 mile brake in, won't be able to then turn around and sell them for what they paid, so in conclusion you made a wise choice.

Wow! That’s almost a quarter million dollars! For me, I wouldn’t invest a penny over $25 Tops. My opinion is given hard experience, there’s no “Fleet” of Dodge’s worth that kind of money. Again, I’ve owned a couple and that’s why I’m No Dodge fan, or any Chrysler product either. The Dealer and the buyer, is where “Two Fools Met”.

If you place an order online for a vehicle and signed a contract for the final amount you got online, dealer legally cannot try to sell the vehicle for more than the price you got when you placed your order. If a dealership tries to get more money for the car than what the purchase order says, that may be a breach of contract. If you placed the order and just put your deposit for it but didn’t signed anything, dealer can change the price before you pick up the vehicle. Had a guy that placed an order for a 2023 Corvette and since he signed the contract when the car arrived at the dealership he had 48 hrs to pick up the vehicle and take it at price he ordered. He picked it up, put 40k down, financed the difference of the price he got online and took it home.

100K markup! No way, plus they never told anyone that the speed was capped at 149 mph. I took my 2013 Shelby GT500 to Germany and drove that car the way it was designed, no limiter and over 200 mph on occasion and it was legal to do it. I also hit the tracks a couple of times. It was the best 6 years of my life!

Hard pass with $100,000 ADM. My dealer told me I could have their allocation but didn’t know the pricing. Then the dealer meeting happened and they wanted $100k over. Then $75k. I told them I would go big and do $25k over. But they declined. Somebody paid $75k over. All good. I like my 2018 Demon just fine. Good move walking.
